Some are in it because they think they know what’s best for baseball.

Sox with Jerry as the owner have no shot in this environment. Mets also just signed Robertson.

A lot of them, including him. Cartaya is their prize prospect, but I doubt they would ever trade him. If you trade Timmy and Hendriks, you better get their best.

The asking price is nuts. Supposedly they want Donovan, Nootbaar and a prospect from Cardinals.

I haven’t heard anything to change my mind that he could be moved for a number of reasons. I reached out to Pal and a few others and they agreed (this was months ago)

I get the same sense the Sox view Timmy as a distraction, same way they did with Sale.

Btw, can’t believe how many people want the Dodgers potential 4A prospects for Timmy and Hendriks. Some of these proposals are gross.

Been saying he might be gone for a while. Rumors are it’s way more than just the baby mama stuff. I hope he stays, but the timing of his “like” is odd.

I’m sure they think Andrus is just as valuable as Timmy and that Hendriks is replaceable. Gotta free up money for Salvy!

He was good in LF last year but awful in RF.

Part of me thinks it wouldn’t be the worst thing to rebuild and just hope by the time the window is open, they have a new owner. I’m not seeing anything close to a title contending roster now.

Dodgers make the most sense by far. No way will Lux play SS for them. He can barely throw accurately from 2B.
