  1. QUOTE(jphat007 @ Jun 26, 2006 -> 03:14 AM) LOLOL. You are talking about lucky? No kidding
  2. They're going to try and squeeze here. Ausmus is a great bunter, and they know Jenks is hard to hit. Again, I have no clue why Jenks wasn't brought in earlier.
  3. QUOTE(Wolverine31 @ Jun 26, 2006 -> 03:13 AM) I turned this one on in the 9th :puke The Sox have to be the luckiest team in the major leagues. Grand Slam in the 9th with 2 outs to tie. Granny yestderday in the late innings to tie. Let's go Astros right here... It's these types of posts which really make me appreciate the Tigers fans on this site.
  4. f***! Come on Ozzie, get Jenks in the f***ing game. Cotts should have had one batter this inning.
  5. QUOTE(Maverick0984 @ Jun 26, 2006 -> 03:09 AM) wow 7 RBI's in 2 innings, that has got to be some kind of record I'm pretty sure Crede did that his rookie year vs Toronto.
  6. They have the 4-5-6 coming up this inning. I wouldn't be against seeing Jenks pitch this inning.
  7. Well...all you could ask for is getting the tying run to the plate.
  8. Vazquez threw his glove in the dugout, and even the bench hit it hard.
  9. QUOTE(Steve9347 @ Jun 26, 2006 -> 02:33 AM) wrong, he is fooling hitters. he's just making stupid decisions (along with AJ, tonight) such as throwing a fastball on an 0-2 count with 2 outs... he just doesn't have it, plain and simple. now, remember, jose contreras did not get his act together until being with the sox for a full year. give him time, he's way more valuable than luis vizquaino and el duque All you have to do is look at his WHIP for the last month or so. It's above 2.0. For someone with his stuff, that means he's not fooling a lot of hitters. His inability to avoid the big inning is still hurting him this year, and it's been his downfall in years past.
  10. Man...this might have been the worst series for our 3-4-5 all season. QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Jun 26, 2006 -> 02:45 AM) A mediocre game by Javy would have made this one winnable. Springer would have never been in to pitch.
  11. BTW...even if we lose this game, it's great to see the effort coming back by the Sox. It all started when Ozzie smiled in the dugout!
  12. And follows the stupid swing with a homer. THIS IS WHY YOU DON'T LEAVE A STARTING PITCHER ON THE MOUND TO GIVE UP EVEN MORE RUNS TO START AN INNING WHEN THEY STRUGGLED THE INNING BEFORE!
  13. Interesting stat, but did anyone else hear that Oswalt has the highest percentage of called 3rd strikes in all of baseball? It makes sense that some of our guys would struggle with him. Stupid by Iguchi.
  14. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jun 26, 2006 -> 02:33 AM) I love getting into team's pens. We ain't dead yet. Sometimes it seems like a video game where the relief pitchers are always worse than the starting pitchers.
  15. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jun 26, 2006 -> 02:30 AM) Man, the rotation is gonna look way different next year without Garcia, Garland and Vazquez. It's going to be Contreras, Buehrle, McCarthy, Broadway, and McCullough. My buddy flash might not be able to watch any game not started by Contreras.
  16. QUOTE(Dan @ Jun 26, 2006 -> 02:27 AM) a wise man once told me, if your gettin' raped, might as well lean back and enjoy it. Fair enough...the pet peeve started when someone said that a go-ahead homer by a certain AL Central player wasn't too bad, as he had him on his fantasy team. SUCK 'EM UP PABLO!
  17. QUOTE(Dan @ Jun 26, 2006 -> 02:24 AM) :finger Sorry, don't take it personally. I just hate when people state stuff about how someone doing good against the White Sox is good for their fantasy team. Did you see Ozzie in the dugout there? He was smiling...HE'S NO LONGER DEPRESSED!!
  18. Since I'm always the optimist, at least the Yankees are losing 5-0 right now.
