  1. Last time Iguchi faced Yan, he won a game in Anaheim.
  2. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Apr 29, 2006 -> 04:09 AM) And yet he's looking at a quality start. Who knew? Garcia's stuff was 10 times better than it was in his last game vs the Twins...another quality start.
  3. QUOTE(chitownsportsfan @ Apr 29, 2006 -> 04:06 AM) How the hell is FG even in this ballgame? He's walked a freaking tightrope all night. He was pitching his best baseball of the year in the middle innings. The Angels took very good swings off of him last inning....basically because they adjusted to the pitches. He better be out now though.
  4. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Apr 29, 2006 -> 04:05 AM) I REALLY think he cracked a few ribs there. I'll say that he didn't (isn't this a change in optimism/pessimism?).
  5. HOLY s***! That looked for sure like it was gone. Great job JD! Bring in McCarthy.
  6. Wow! I thought for sure that was a hit off of the bat. One more huge out for Garcia. Kochman's taken some good swings against him.
  7. Hopefully Ozzie gets the bullpen loose. Garcia's been up in the zone this inning.
  8. Salmon's had some good swings tonight. He looks better at the plate than he has in years.
  9. It's too bad Iguchi hasn't been more aggressive on the bases to try and steal and get in scoring position. It's a tough call with our bombers up though.
  10. QUOTE(jphat007 @ Apr 29, 2006 -> 03:45 AM) Much, much better. I've been critical of Garcia all year. Since he went to the stretch, this is the most comfortable he's looked all season.
  11. Great pitch after pitching him away all game. Please get Cabrera out here, and make Vlad lead off the next inning.
  12. QUOTE(maggliopipe @ Apr 29, 2006 -> 03:40 AM) I don't know if he's throwing much harder from the stretch, but it seems like he's throwing more fastballs and less offspeed s***. He's throwing strikes. Freddy walked the leadoff guy in the first 3 innings. Thus, he was pitching out of the stretch almost the whole game, and obviously feels more comfortable.
  13. QUOTE(shawnhillegas @ Apr 29, 2006 -> 03:30 AM) so is freddy never going to go the the wind-up again here or what? We all predicted he was going to be a reliever sooner than later.
  14. I hate to jinx him...but Garcia's stuff is much better/tighter out of the stretch.
  15. Ugh...not good. Lets not have two straight innings with a man left on 3rd w/less than 2 outs.
  16. Please keep throwing 2 strike fastballs Gregg. It would be nice if Dye can get the run back from last inning.
  17. Thome's missed some pitches he'd typically crush.
  18. Great swing by Iguchi....again. He should be able to steal off of Gregg, who has a very slow release.
  19. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Apr 29, 2006 -> 03:16 AM) Farmer and Singleton are saying Freddy was looking better from the stretch...is this true? Yes...he seemed to have more control, and his wind-up was a little more compact.
  20. Jphat...what are the Angels radar guns getting Freddy at now? Thanks for the info above.
  21. Freddy's pitching from the stretch with no one on base.
  22. QUOTE(BFirebird @ Apr 29, 2006 -> 03:05 AM) Kevin Gregg = suck :headshake
