  1. Salmon's had some good swings tonight. He looks better at the plate than he has in years.
  2. It's too bad Iguchi hasn't been more aggressive on the bases to try and steal and get in scoring position. It's a tough call with our bombers up though.
  3. QUOTE(jphat007 @ Apr 29, 2006 -> 03:45 AM) Much, much better. I've been critical of Garcia all year. Since he went to the stretch, this is the most comfortable he's looked all season.
  4. Great pitch after pitching him away all game. Please get Cabrera out here, and make Vlad lead off the next inning.
  5. QUOTE(maggliopipe @ Apr 29, 2006 -> 03:40 AM) I don't know if he's throwing much harder from the stretch, but it seems like he's throwing more fastballs and less offspeed s***. He's throwing strikes. Freddy walked the leadoff guy in the first 3 innings. Thus, he was pitching out of the stretch almost the whole game, and obviously feels more comfortable.
  6. QUOTE(shawnhillegas @ Apr 29, 2006 -> 03:30 AM) so is freddy never going to go the the wind-up again here or what? We all predicted he was going to be a reliever sooner than later.
  7. I hate to jinx him...but Garcia's stuff is much better/tighter out of the stretch.
  8. Ugh...not good. Lets not have two straight innings with a man left on 3rd w/less than 2 outs.
  9. Please keep throwing 2 strike fastballs Gregg. It would be nice if Dye can get the run back from last inning.
  10. Thome's missed some pitches he'd typically crush.
  11. Great swing by Iguchi....again. He should be able to steal off of Gregg, who has a very slow release.
  12. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Apr 29, 2006 -> 03:16 AM) Farmer and Singleton are saying Freddy was looking better from the stretch...is this true? Yes...he seemed to have more control, and his wind-up was a little more compact.
  13. Jphat...what are the Angels radar guns getting Freddy at now? Thanks for the info above.
  14. Freddy's pitching from the stretch with no one on base.
  15. QUOTE(BFirebird @ Apr 29, 2006 -> 03:05 AM) Kevin Gregg = suck :headshake
  16. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Apr 29, 2006 -> 03:07 AM) Goddammit Brian. I think it's safe to say that at this point in his career, when Anderson gets two called strikes on him, it's a pretty safe bet he's going to K in that AB.
  17. QUOTE(BFirebird @ Apr 29, 2006 -> 03:05 AM) Kevin Gregg = suck Why's that? I've always thought he was a tough pitcher to hit off of.
  18. Wow....way to go with the ball Juan! This last time thru the order, we've had some amazing at bats (besides for that crappy 3rd hitter).
  19. QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Apr 29, 2006 -> 02:58 AM) It's unlikely to me, but I've wanted to achieve something on a personal level and rushed it before. I'm sure most people have. Did I miss something? Are we talking about sex now?
  20. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Apr 29, 2006 -> 03:00 AM) Weaver aint going to make it out of the 3rd... And the most important thing is that we scored at least 7 runs vs him.
