Maybe Pods can platoon vs lefties. We need to find a LF to face righties.

Pods can't bunt now either. He tries to be too perfect. Can he transfer or something?

How about this....when the wind is blowing in, and we get a leadoff guy on, we try to create some offense? We've had the leadoff guy on base almost all game (besides when PO-season led off).

Note to Sox hitters......stop hitting the ball high in the air.

I just love how we keep throwing fastballs to Sanders. I haven't said this yet, but we suck right now.

This is some terrible baseball we're seeing.

Pods is so worthless when he's not 100 pct. You can see he wasn't even running hard down the line. Put him on the DL....PLEASE!

QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Apr 8, 2006 -> 07:23 PM) No one was going to hit that 3rd strike. That was a terrible call.

Thome manufactured that run. Good for him.

I think Boone = Crede

Maybe A.J. should retire and become a professional wrestler.

Wow....Thome might be our best base runner!

We have a 3 man offense right now with Iguchi, Thome, and Konerko.

QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Apr 8, 2006 -> 06:33 PM) Pathetic 1-2-3 Against a wild pitcher, guys like Crede and Uribe aren't going to help you much. With the wind howling in from LF, we don't match-up very well.

Vazquez threw more inside fastballs in that first inning than Garland and Garcia did during their entire outings.

Did A.J. ever play in Spring Training? Whenever I watched the games, it always seemed like Widger or Molina were playing.

QUOTE(AbeFroman @ Apr 8, 2006 -> 06:19 PM) anyone know anything about this denny bautista? Baltimore made an awful trade, when they gave him up for Jason Grimsley about 3 yrs ago.

QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Apr 8, 2006 -> 06:17 PM) Seeing those replays, while Garland did give up the hits, no doubt, It still s***ty that 10 ER to his ERA is BS. ^^^^^^^^^

Yep Greg Walker, he hit that ball hard, but right at someone.

Does Chris Rongey exist?
On the pre, pre-game show yesterday, whenever someone called in to complain, he kept saying "I can see why you would think that way....I just don't know what the correct answer is".

Blow this team up!
QUOTE(WCSox @ Apr 8, 2006 -> 05:43 PM) I agreee with Ozzie leaving him in after he coughed up the lead, though. He got no defense help from Ozuna and those two doubles down the lines in the 4th were more of the "seeing-eye" type than anything. After the way Jon pitched last year, he deserved the chance to work his way out. Those doubles were rockets hit off of him due to terrible pitches. The Berroa double was a massive hanger, and the Buck double was a weak fastball over the plate.
