Risky decision by Pods there. Not a very smart move, but at least it worked. Backe is definitely hittable if we stay patient.

We gotta take some pitches. After doing a great job in the first inning, the last 5 outs have been way too quick in regards to pitches.

Guys are a little homer happy tonight. As we talked about in the 5th game of the Angels series, players often get a little anxious to try and put big numbers up on the board.

Good job Freddy. We had some solid ABs against Backe last inning, and seemed to be making good contact.

The only reason I commented in this thread was because the original poster said "great team", and not WS winner.

The worst move made by Garner last night was not having Palmeiro hit for Taveras in the 9th. I guarantee you that Palmeiro would have put the ball in play against Duque.
