Castillo definitely will be in it. McDougal has no shot to be a starter for me, and I still think the Sox aren’t impressed with Thorpe.

Newcomb and Taylor have combined for 14.2-12 runs this month. This is why you don’t abuse your relievers with crazy pitch counts

Yeah he is not a manager that can win big games for you

What he say?

He did look good, just have to see same velocity as a starter

5 straight fastballs with the lefty-lefty matchup is just inexcusable

Throw offspeed, easy out

Of course….Sam really needs to be pulling the ball more. He’s been way too slappy second half of the year. That’s fine with 2 strikes, not 1-0

Bring in the guy with no power

It would be so much different if the first half and second half were flipped and if Mune and Colson were progressing instead of imploding.

Especially as a lefty. Feels like they’re thrown too many fastballs in this series

Sure, but there have been a few games where simple common sense likely wins you the game.

They play each other coming up, so guaranteed 2 wins for one of them

And having a deadline that literally makes you worse

He clearly showed he couldn’t handle a pennant race

Especially since we will see no changes with the front office and coaches

I swear the Sox have given up 3 or more runs in an inning over 50 pct of the games the last two months

Agreed but part of deadline acquisitions should be to provide support to guys down the stretch.

First half was amazing, second half besides walkoffs has been bad baseball

Gonna end up below .500

100 pct contributable to getting nothing from Castillo and Brazoban.

Bannister needs to be fired as soon as season is over

Second half has been anything but fun, and our GM already severely crippled next year’s roster

Venable continues to make every wrong decision with the pitching. Why is he still out there? Stupid f*** with no urgency. Way to destroy Newcomb and Taylor.

God no
