I went back and watched some of what Getz said. The whole “the players get motivated when the fans are loud” is such crap. Provide a better product and you will get your energized fan base.

Someone made a great point about how the league adjusted to their fastball hunting. I can’t believe how bad just about everyone looked against a change up this week. They made generic Orioles pitchers look like Pedro Martinez.

I’ve heard for a while now that the payroll will be embarrassingly low next year. I’m surprised some media people reported last month they would spend this offseason. Just like with the Twins recent infusion, I think a lot of the Ishbia money is going towards the debt.
