If you go back and look at Mune from earlier in the year, you can really see why he’s struggling. He’s not staying on the ball at all.

Just watched an entire half inning with Benetti eating and talking to a chef.

Up to this point in the season, he shouldn’t be starting in the postseason. He’s one of the 10 worst starters in baseball this year (100 IP or more). Much rather go the opener path outside of Burke.

But he’s a good teammate

Castillo is their big add

Oh come on. The Sox even said Castillo was brought in due to his ability to provide innings as a starter, yet 3 of his 4 starts have been short.

Yeah they’re not eating that contract. I did say when they acquired him that it wouldn’t shock me if we start seeing “DFA Castillo” threads starting around May of next year.

During Braves game last night, announcers said Braves wanted Mahle because they saw improvements in his fastball the last few starts before the deadline, and they implied the Rangers catchers stink.

I just don’t like the approach because the 2005 was a bunch of slap hitters, and that helped them win the WS. Wait, they were 5th in baseball with 200 on the season!
