Holy cow, that 3-1 pitch to Bartlett was right down the plate....as was the first pitch to Mauer. This ump is beyond awful with his small zone.

Watching Crede this season, it amazes me that they've never tried a different loading mechanism for his swing. He's having a terrible time getting the bat through the zone. Why not try a leg kick or timing mechanism like Sosa used?

A.J. just hitting some rockets tonight. Best thing is that he's also avoiding hitting into weak double plays, something that really plagued him last season.

I don't even care if I jinx the Sox tonight, I'm not impressed with the guys they've called up to replace their old starters. Bartlett looks like someone who you can jam whenever you want. Losing Silva will be a massive loss for them.

Santana vs anyone makes the Twins the favorite. I would rather not have Garcia go on 3-days rest, especially after some of the forearm problems he had last season. I think Garland might be able to go tomorrow night, especially with it being a night game. I'm just happy we won last night, because I was concerned about the pitching matchups this wknd.
