  1. That team wouldn’t win the AL Central, but good news is that’s about the worst possible scenario for the offseason
  2. I’ve seen some people suggest he wants something like 3/120
  3. I’m going to hate myself for suggesting this, but I could see Verlander as someone the Sox might have interest in.
  4. The real offseason starts when we get the “eyes” emoji
  5. New York media doesn’t expect him to accept
  6. But as Harold mentioned earlier, if the Sox have serious doubts about Rodon’s health, why risk spending more than 10 pct of your budget on him? It’s just too risky. Did everything forget the last two months of the season when the Sox basically didn’t want to pitch him because of his health.
  7. Worst case for Rodon is a lot worse than what you suggested. Also people really need to stop believing they have any intention of keeping Kimbrel. Even Bob N. said they would deal him, and he’s the unofficial Sox spokesman.
  8. I feel like the Kimbrel trade and subsequent implosion has lowered the board’s IQ significantly.
  9. Ashley Rodon basically tweeted a goodbye to the organization
  10. That’s not good because this team was very average during the second half last year. This post is ridiculous though, as you can say the same about every team in baseball right now besides Cubs and Tigers.
  11. They’ll pace Kopech a lot more. I think Rodon’s success caught them by surprise at the beginning.
  12. Lopez will be relied on and they will sign another starter I’m sure
  13. He should get the most guaranteed money he can get for the most amount of years
  14. I might be the only one happy they didn’t QO Rodon. I don’t trust him at all to remain healthy into a postseason series.
  15. Who are some names out there besides Conforto? Gallo maybe
  16. Astros fans don’t think he will be back
  17. I’m hoping they offer the QO, he rejects it and goes elsewhere. I don’t trust him to stay healthy. I could totally see the Astros going after him though.
  18. LaStella had surgery recently and will be out 4 months. I’m of the opinion Giants would rather just keep him though and use their available money to find a pitcher than to take on Dallas.
  19. Just seems like a logical fit, as it’s a lefty hitting 2nd baseman and he’s the type of guy Tampa looks to trade as he gets more expensive. I would be fine with it if they go big in RF.
  20. Right team, wrong player....Joey Wendle
