  1. Also I assume yesterday’s outing for Crochet was one of his longest of the year?
  2. How about Crochet then not throwing 3-2 slider to Yordan after having huge swings on the fastball
  3. Actually it’s his fault Leury almost got hit in the head on Correa’s liner
  4. By going forward I meant next few seasons. Vaughn is a lost cause this postseason.
  5. I’m not sure I disagree. He’s never going to give you any value outside of his hitting.
  6. What this team needs is Eloy to turn into a beast and Vaughn to be a plus hitter going forward. The lineup just isn’t as dangerous as it needs to be given the “names” involved.
  7. Truly believe they thought Engel was their man for RF this postseason. I guess that lasted 6 at bats. Just horrible decision making at the deadline.
  8. Meanwhile I’m watching two teams in the Braves and Brewers that used in-season acquisitions to significantly bolster their lineups
  9. How are we supposed to tell you exactly how they would do? What I do know is what happened the first two games here with RF and it was a disaster. Yesterday’s game was a loss no matter what, but improved lineup and defense in RF could easily win you that game. I’m sure they could have got Marte for Madrigal and Heuer. Unfortunately, the dumbass front office wanted to save playing time for Engel, Goodwin and Garcia.
  10. What I don’t get is they had a huge shift on for him in the second inning and then no shift later
  11. I feel like it’s even more possible after Tony’s comment
  12. To be fair Robert misplayed a ball in that game. Oh well, this entire transaction is a debacle and I just hope they can get some type of asset for him. There is no fucking way he’s on the 2022 White Sox though.
  13. You couldn’t be more wrong about his leadership
  14. Kimbrel also wanted to come to Sox with the belief he would get closing chances
  15. The only postseason game Sox have won last two years was in large part due to Abreu’s homer. He’s far from an issue on this team. Shit, he’s probably the best leader in the whole organization.
  16. Would it shock you if JR and Tony already want to fire Hahn and this was Tony’s way of throwing him under the bus?
  17. At least Tony is trying to salvage Kimbrel’s value by blaming it on the role. That’s one of the stupidest comments ever made to the media by a manager though.
  18. It’s like the Tatis trade. I’m not mad they traded him as that was just bad luck him turning into a star. The real issue was trading for a washed-up Shields. Same is true about trading for a life long closer and trying to make him something he’s not.
  19. The only things Altuve and Madrigal have in common are position and not being tall enough to ride Space Mountain. Altuve is leaps and bounds better than Madrigal. I think the best thing to ever happen for Madrigal is get traded, as everyone has seemingly forgot how frustrating his mistakes were. His instincts on the field sucked
  20. Imagine pitching to one of the hottest hitters on the planet with an open base and a guy named Chas on deck. That is a worse decision than PH Cesar, which was a very dumb decision.
  21. In a series where lack of extra base hits is hurting the offense, I don’t think Madrigal is a big loss.
