    SS Help

    QUOTE(RockRaines @ Jun 26, 2006 -> 02:50 PM) Im just mentioning it because Tejada is on rumor central with the Angels showing interest. I would be interested, especially with the Tigers most likely looking at more talent as well. Tejada woud bring another good bat, leadership, and good fielding to our team. Yeah, the Tejada rumors are there but with the current state that the Orioles find themselves in, they will not be trading him during the season. I would absolutely love him and would give up anyone not named McCarthy in order to get him but I just don't see him being moved anytime soon.

    Well, there ain't a chance in hell the O's move Tejada during the season but if such a trade were to come up I would certainly pull the trigger. As long as the "others" of course are not McCarthy and I've gotta doubt that they'd move Tejada without getting Bmac
  3. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Jun 26, 2006 -> 01:52 PM) If that was you, i wouldnt admit it like that. Well, he did save some little girl the embarrassment of picking up the ball. She reached down with her glove just when he picked it up so if he doesn't grab that ball, the girl probably does. I guess that's a positive.
  4. QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Jun 26, 2006 -> 01:14 PM) It is the correct pronunciation. Yeah, except that's not the way Juan pronounces it when he says it. However the person wants it pronounced is how it's pronounced.
  5. QUOTE(shoota @ Jun 26, 2006 -> 12:26 AM) Then there goes the Vazquez defense of having one bad start. Current non-cherry picked era: 5.00 That wasn't the point people were making, he's had more than one bad start so that wouldn't even make any sense. Re-read SoxAce's posts.
  6. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Jun 26, 2006 -> 12:22 AM) Getting 3 starts already against KC will help your ERA. His ERA is over 6.00 against teams not named the Royals. Cherry picking is the height of lame.
  7. Did they do the wave at all today?
  8. QUOTE(shoota @ Jun 25, 2006 -> 11:54 PM) Great point, but it might not be a long-term situation. The performances of Garcia, Garland and Vazquez have one wondering what their roles with the Sox will be this season. D-Train plz. That'd be fun the first time around the league, after that, I sure hope you like the way Garland pitches now because that's the type of results you'll be getting.
  9. It still sucks to come all the way back and not be able to pull it out. Though, the last time the Sox did something like this on a Sunday night ESPN game they had an extended period of success afterwards.
  10. Ross is up there cuttin' like he's in the little leagues. BATTLE ROSS!
  11. QUOTE(jenksd @ Jun 25, 2006 -> 11:20 PM) He's a damn good defensive corner OF.
  12. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jun 25, 2006 -> 11:11 PM) It's really too bad this game ended some time ago. Six or seven innings ago, right? I do believe this is the case.
  13. You just know Gload will win this game if given another opportunity.
