White Sox News Conference Coming Up Live on ESPNews
QUOTE(keninem @ May 20, 2006 -> 03:30 PM) Bean that f*** in every at bat tomorrow, if he plays. That would be pretty retarded, why have your pitchers get suspended over something as juvenile as that?

I don't know who the f*** this guy is on ESPNews who's doing the highlights for the Sox game but I love him.

Pods will not be getting suspended, fined possibly but suspended no. BA will get a few games probably about 3 or 4 I'd say. AJ might get a game, keyword being might. He should not be suspended. Barrett is going to be sitting out for a while.

VIDEO OF TODAYS GAME
QUOTE(WSoxMatt @ May 20, 2006 -> 02:57 PM) I have it on my Tivo, if I can figure out how to transfer it I will but I have to figure it out first, Ive never done it before... If you have your Tivo hooked up to your wireless network and have the TivoToGo feature utilized. You should be able to tranfer it from your Tivo to a computer and the burn it onto a disc.

Video of Barrett-Pierzynski
Brian Anderson is a pretty big dude, I'm not sure why a skinny b**** like Mabry would even attempt something like that.

I've always found Michael Barrett to be a bit of a punk b****. He didn't do much today to help eliminate that label.
-
Brad Lidge....
He'll be fine the second he leaves Houston but I'm not so sure he can ever be dominant the way he was in the past if he stays with the Astros.

Any Word On Big Franks Condition?

QUOTE(Benchwarmerjim @ May 19, 2006 -> 07:33 PM) Liriano gets his first hit and first RBI 1-0 Twins bottom of 2 How overweight and pathetic is Carlos Lee in LF? That ball hung up in the air for what seemed like forever and somehow it lands in LF in front of el Caballo. Prototypical DH right there.

Pierz and Jaque are hangin out behind the backstop. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ May 19, 2006 -> 01:05 PM) Somebody will hit 2 home runs today for us. Who? I'm not sure, but somebody is going yard twice. I'd probably put my money on Kong. Is it just me or is the Widge hitting a little early in BP? He's in there with Pierz and Crede.

Also just another fun fact, Alex Cintron has faced Scott Williamson once in his career, he picked up a hit in that at bat. That just happened to be a homer. One more thing on Alex Cintron, he's 2-3 against Eyre too. As for the rest of the lineup, career's Vs Maddux: Pods: 5-24, 3 2B, 4 K Iguchi: 1-6, K Thome: 2-16, 2B, 2 K, BB Konerko: 4-10, 2B, 4 RBI, K Dye: 3-9, HR, 2 RBI Pierz: 6-11, 2B, 2 RBI, K Crede: 1-9, HR, K Mack: 8-37, 2B, 2 RBI, 2 BB, 6 K Cintron: 2-3, HR Kong, Dye, Pierz, Cintron ---> Big days today

Detroit For Real
QUOTE(ZoomSlowik @ May 19, 2006 -> 10:53 AM) Kenny Rogers' home/road splits for the last 2 years when he was in Texas: 2004 Home ERA- 4.24 Road ERA- 5.31 2005 Home ERA- 2.98 Road ERA- 3.78 So apparently he pitched better in the hitter's park with the heat. I guess the park wasn't really a factor then. I wouldn't expect a 41 year old to have much stamina anyways. 2004 Pre All-Star Break- 4.21 ERA/ 1.32 WHIP Post All-Star Break- 5.46 ERA/ 1.69 WHIP 2005 Pre All-Star Break- 2.54 ERA/ 1.24 WHIP Post All-Star Break- 4.72 ERA/ 1.43 WHIP Perhaps his age comes into play more with the long haul of the season.
