QUOTE(TitoMB345 @ May 17, 2006 -> 07:04 PM) Well, I guess we're just going to have to disagree here. There is no way a 4.56 ERA is pathetic, at all. Josh Towers has a career 4.5 ERA, how do you feel about him? -

QUOTE(TitoMB345 @ May 17, 2006 -> 07:01 PM) I didn't say it was good. You said it was TERRIBLE. No way in HELL is a 4.5 ERA terrible. Thats 3 runs over 6 IP. Thats a quality start. Yeesh. I don't remember using the word terrible. 4.56 for a guy making what Garcia is making is pathetic. -

QUOTE(TitoMB345 @ May 17, 2006 -> 06:58 PM) Wow, 4.56 is bad? What world are you living in? Get real. Since when is a mid 4 ERA good? That's Kyle Lohse s*** right there. -

QUOTE(aboz56 @ May 17, 2006 -> 06:56 PM) Alright, time to get some runs off of this sorry sack of s***. I don't care about his recent starts, his era still looks pathetic. Time to add some damage to it. So do Freddy Garcia's and Jon Garland's. -

QUOTE(DBAH0 @ May 17, 2006 -> 06:46 PM) Who else thinks Jon's not going to give up a run for the next few innings just to spite you guys. I'd be right with you if I thought he had it in him. Johnny Gomes is going to rock him next AB. -

QUOTE(daa84 @ May 17, 2006 -> 06:45 PM) ugh nothing was worse than the walkoff 3 run shot by crawford off of koch...still one of my very worst memories of the last 5 years And it was on the 4th of July which for whatever reason made it even worse. -

QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ May 17, 2006 -> 06:26 PM) I smacked myself in the forehead when Ozuna missed that. Thankfully, it went foul. If you smack yourself in the head everytime Pablo misplays a ball at 3B today, you're going to have a concusion by the end of the game. -

QUOTE(Ndgt10 @ May 17, 2006 -> 06:24 PM) Why do people insist that every pitcher with a 5+ ERA has good stuff? McClung sucks. There is no excuse for us not to put up atleast 6 against this guy. Maybe because he does have good stuff. -

QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ May 17, 2006 -> 06:14 PM) That stadium is by far a bigger hole than the Metrodome. And that says something. It's not that bad in person, the MetroDome on the other hand is f***ing horrible unless you're watching a Vikings game. -
QUOTE(Jimbo @ May 17, 2006 -> 05:30 PM) Charlotte is playing really really well right now. Due to Sweeney (our future OF), Fields (our future OF hopefully), Stewart (replaces Widge next year), Heager (HA) and a bevy of others with little to no trade value either because they're unproven minor leaguers or they're vets.
-
BMac has been in the pen all year, his arm is not stretched out, they had to keep him to a low pitch count in order to avoid any possible arm irritation. The last thing the Sox need is for thier 6th starter/best bullpen arm to go down. 83 pitches is actually more than most suspected he'd pitch.

Wow....WhiteSox.com poll results on Cubs series

QUOTE(Heads22 @ May 17, 2006 -> 04:08 PM) Shrink "rivalry" series down to three games. Oh silly Iowan, we need 6 games. It's quite fun having 2 series a year. -
QUOTE(Benchwarmerjim @ May 17, 2006 -> 03:23 PM) not at all I am fed up with Lohse. I would trade him for a rosin bag right now Yes but the question is, whould the Twins' brass do the same after giving him that ridiculous contract?
-
QUOTE(Benchwarmerjim @ May 17, 2006 -> 03:21 PM) I dont think Lohse can be demoted without clearing waivers first Would you be terribly upset if someone claimed him and his $4M salary?
-
QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ May 17, 2006 -> 03:14 PM) Possible Twins rotation change. A coworker called on this. According to KFAN Radio In Minny. So until its in print take it with a grain of salt. Lohse has been demoted to AAA, and some guy named Boof Bonser to start against the Brewers on Sunday. Finally, this move makes total sense and I'd be surprised if they didn't callup Boof. Just more proof that AJ Pierzynski was involved in the worst trade in major league history.
-
QUOTE(Cuck the Fubs @ May 17, 2006 -> 02:59 PM) That, and the 18M he's due this year. The Gaints team is not going to win a World Series, which I know will be your arguement he wants a ring, so I think he's in it for the money and passing Ruth What's wrong with playing for the money? I know if I was due $18M ain't a chance in heel I walk away from that sort of money.
-
QUOTE(Cuck the Fubs @ May 17, 2006 -> 02:39 PM) Bonds should actually be at 712, b/c I remember a game in 2001 when SF was playing the Cubs, Bonds foul-tipped a pitch w/ 2 strikes and the catcher caught it. Bonds whacked him on the follow-thru, causing him the catcher to drop it. The ump said the catcher dropped it and allowed the AB to continue. Later in the AB, Bonds hit a grand slam Are you f***ing serious with this s***?
-
QUOTE(Cuck the Fubs @ May 17, 2006 -> 02:29 PM) No. Hit him in the head with a 100 mph fastball and get it over with. While I think Bonds is the only player who deserves to get hit, I still believe that whoever hit him should be suspended, b/c MLB needs to be consistant, and can't allow it to be a 2-way street Why exactly is Bonds the only one that deserves to be hit?
