When Jimenez was hot at the beginning of the year, we were winning. Lately, now that he's cooled off a bit, we're not playing as well. He's definitely a catalyst on this team, and we need his bat to heat up again. what team have you been watching.. we havent been hot since 2000..........lol....i dont know how you guys figure that jimenez is anything to this team.......he surely isnt the catalyst .... thats frank and maggs job.. when they are hitting hot everyone else follows suite......thats facts....... Talking about blind to reality. Frank has been an whiner and an individual caring only about himself for years. He's a cancer in the clubhouse (although for the most part has seemed better this year) and always has been. No one will speak up about Frank because of how well he has hit, but the media did not create Frank's image. He has no one to blame for that but himself. If you can't see the ego and individualism in Frank, you are blind to anything outside of the world of silver and black. Why is it if ANYONE disagrees with you it is because they are blind to the silver and black, this place is for ALL opinions, whether they agree with you or not.

I pay about 1000 a year on a 96 grand marquis and i'm 28 and live in teh burbs. havent had a ticket or accident in 5 years. Insurance is one of the biggest crimes around. That is your opinion , I have mine, Clemens /Wood does nothing for me, has nothing to do with Sox, this was Clemens 3rd try at 300 ...yawn.....and Wood has barely been a .500 pitcher. Then your scope of baseball knowledge is way too narrow. Anytime a guy is going for 300 wins is huge and to be doing so at Wrigley where the Yankees hadn't played since 1938 and against a fellow Texas pitcher, not to mention the young vs. old plotlines makes for great baseball. If you didn't watch, then you have no clue how this game played out. If you don't care, then get the hell off this thread and go back to your narrow view of the game, however sad it is. Because my opinion on game does not agree with yours is no reason to get personal, 2 people can disagree without questioning someone's scope of baseball knowledge. Sorry, if you can't see that matchup today as a great one, then I certainly question your baseball knowledge and your understanding of its history. If that is considered getting personal, then so be it. If you aren't interested in it, fine. If you can't see the significance of it that tells me all I need to know.
