Owens like so many others has been Cena'd Following his loss to John Cena at WWE Battleground, Wrestling Observer Live reports that Kevin Owens has been moved from the main event scene down to the upper mid-card. The site’s Bryan Alvarez notes that Owens’s position is now comparable in WWE to the likes as Dolph Ziggler, Cesaro and Rusev, as opposed to the main eventers like John Cena, Randy Orton or Seth Rollins. Many in the company expected Owens to win the US Title from Cena at the PPV, but obviously that didn’t happen. He’s been taken out of his feud with Cena so Cena can move on to Seth Rollins. As of now there are no plans to have him featured at SummerSlam; he’s currently set to face Finn Balor at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn the night before the PPV.

This is not good news for the Sox. USA Today's Bob Nightengale reports that the Tigers plan to put David Price and Yoenis Cespedes on the trade block. Nightengale says that "barring a veto from owner Mike Ilitch," the club is "going to surrender and be sellers." For what it's worth, general manager Dave Dombrowski said the team hasn't decided what do to at the deadline. They'll likely wait as long as possible, but the Tigers almost surely can't catch the Royals and they're not looking like much of a Wild Card contender with Miguel Cabrera (calf) hurt and Justin Verlander a shell of his former self. Dealing Price and Cespedes would help the club restock a barren farm system.

The Main Event was terrible.
