  1. QUOTE (Bigsoxhurt35 @ Jun 12, 2014 -> 07:22 PM) He's never completed a game though. Crazy considering how good he's been the past few years. That is very true.
  2. That was lightning fast........1 hr 20 minute game pace.
  3. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 12, 2014 -> 03:36 PM) Honestly, there isn't any extra money to be found. Either he takes what we can offer, or he goes back to NCSt I agree with you about the money, but we all know Bor-ASS always wants to be center of attention and control the pace.
  4. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Jun 12, 2014 -> 02:47 PM) Why play that game? Give him your best offer today and tell him the offer goes down $10K every day through July 18. When you draft a Boras client you know you have to play the game. Sox knew that before they drafted Rodon. I agree he needs to sign and get going this is why people hate Bor-ASS.
  5. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jun 12, 2014 -> 02:35 PM) Part of any delay in Rodon signing has to be the price you pay for picking a Boras "advised" client. Signing for just around slot right away, pretty much can be done by a guy like Rodon without an advisor. The delay at least presents the possibility that using Boras' advise actually made him a few more dollars. That and until Kolek signs no way Rodon signs. Boras wants to see the numbers Kolek gets.
  6. QUOTE (scs787 @ Jun 12, 2014 -> 02:00 PM) Tensai coulda been a beast if used correctly, bums me out he wasn't used correctly. He was super over in Japan If WWE would of booked him right it could of been a good thing. WWE dropped the ball on him. Curt Hawkins not happy called Mark Henry a idiot on twitter.
  7. QUOTE (Ozzie Ball @ Jun 12, 2014 -> 02:00 PM) Jim (Chicago) Hey Keith- What's your opinion on the white sox signing picks 2-10 before Rodon? Is it a good move removing the negotiations from the process and just admitting this is what we have left to offer? Klaw (1:42 PM) I thought so. You're playing chicken a little bit - you have to be willing to lose the player and get the pick next year - but it puts Rodon in a position where he has to walk away from probably $6 million, but can't reasonably ask for more because it would require them giving up their top 2015 pick. Klaw (1:43 PM) And any pitcher who walks away from $6 million probably doesn't want to play baseball that badly. Or else he just has a lot of insurance. Rodon/Bor-ASS would be foolish to turn 6 mil down. Rodon will not find a better situation to come into than the Sox. Holliday his college pitching coach even said so.
  8. Teddy Long was released today because his contract expired. He had been off of TV for some time and most people knew he was going to leave. - WWE felt that Yoshi Tatsu had "really regressed" in the ring. They tried to find another role for him before his release, including as an NXT ring announcer. - Creative seemed to simply stop caring about Brodus Clay. That's why they broke up his team with Tensai and did nothing with him. His final appearance was a loss to NXT champion Adrian Neville, which is a sign that there wasn't a plan for him in the future. - Evan Bourne hasn't wrestled in a long time. He was injured in a car accident after he was already out on a Wellness suspension. He's said to be a victim of bad timing. - Curt Hawkins and Camacho's releases were said to be the biggest surprises. Camacho was popular in NXT as he had a lot of charisma and was well spoken in his recent appearances. Hawkins had several years on his deal and was considered a "good hand" in the ring, even if he was only used as enhancement talent. He recently opened a school in Long Island, so he likely knew the end was coming. He will probably get a lot of independent work in the Northeast. - The feeling backstage is that more releases will be coming, but that's always the thought process on a release day. 9. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Jun 12, 2014 -> 01:29 PM) It's not just that ridiculous time period that no one, public or private, ever has to follow, it's also that Republicans mandated that the funds for the 70 years be built up over a pretty short period of time. An overwhelming majority of the USPS's budget shortfalls are due to the pension pre-funding. The rest can be attributed to the same people that forced that funding scheme also blocking the USPS from actually competing with private companies in offering new services. No business could make money with such a 75 year pension requirement to be funded in a 10 year window. Darrell Issa thinks it is so great to make the PO do it but when ask in a hearing on it why doesn't the FBI or IRS or any other government agency have to do this he said meeting adjourned. What a asshole. Issa's wife is a lobbyist for UPS no conflict of interest here. The PO is making money IF not for this 75 year prefund requirement this is a 100% manufactured crisis.
  10. Vince McMahon is said to be down on Bo Dallas, Adam Rose and Divas Champion Paige. He's known for having a hard time accepting new talent as top stars. Adam Rose being left off RAW this week is said to be a sign that they are cooling down on him. It doesn't help that Executive Vice President of Television Production Kevin Dunn has buried Rose backstage and he is said to have a lot of pull. Another sign is the fact that even though Paige has the Divas title, she hasn't have a lot of character development. Instead, they've been building up Alicia Fox, who Dunn is a huge fan of. Bo Dallas is still getting pushed on almost every show, so Vince's opinion hasn't really hurt him yet. Credit: Wrestlezone Not surprised about Rose fans could care less.
  11. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Jun 11, 2014 -> 07:03 PM) I'm all for more tax dollars for highways, but if they're going to cut post office funding than at least cut service back to five days. Government does not fund in any way the Post Office it gets no taxpayer money, Post Office revenue is all from sales of postage. This is a stupid idea that takes from Peter to pay Paul. GOP hell bent on trying to privatize the Post Office.
  12. Always nice to gain a game with a win.
