  13. QUOTE (fathom @ May 19, 2014 -> 07:52 PM) At one point tonight, Carroll had given up 27 hits in his last 9.1 innings. That's one of the worst stat lines I've ever seen. Yep whether GB makes the play or not Mr.Carroll needs to go.
  14. QUOTE (South Side Fireworks Man @ May 19, 2014 -> 07:39 PM) If Semien catches the ball at 3B and Dunn doesn't miss the cutoff those throws result in 2 outs. The extra work in Spring training sure is paying off.
  15. Talk about being behind the eight ball lately to start a game.
  16. 5 runs on 5 hits no errors given I see.
  17. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 19, 2014 -> 07:29 PM) Beckham gets the double play and this inning's completely different. Hosmer's was the only hard hit ball. But he did not SOS.........IF DeAza does not make a out at 3rd Saturday..............IF GB turns the DP...........bad pattern equals losing baseball.
  18. 3rd game in a row WTF! Goodbye Mr. Carroll
  19. Hammer the soft tosser Vargas tonight.
  20. Bears signed WR Brandon Marshall to a three-year, $30 million extension through 2018. In what we believe is a first, Marshall signed his deal live on the daytime talk show "The View." The extension is tacked onto the $9.3 million he was previously owed in 2014, putting Marshall on the books for $39.3 million over the next four seasons. The "new money" includes $23 million guaranteed. It's a ton of coin for a sometimes mercurial player on the wrong side of 30, but Marshall has certainly earned it with on-field dominance. Since joining the Bears two years ago, he's averaged 109 catches for 1401.5 yards and 11.5 touchdowns per season. With Bromance partner Jay Cutler and quarterback whisperer Marc Trestman locked in place, we don't see a letdown coming anytime soon. Per Rotoworld
  21. PWInsider reports that according to talk within WWE, the two to three month recovery time for Daniel Bryan following his neck surgery is a best-case scenario in the case that everything goes exactly as hoped. It could be longer than that before he is back in the ring. Bryan, as previously reported, underwent surgery to fix an injury in his neck on Thursday. An announcement in regard to the WWE World Title is set for Monday. I look for WWE title to be stripped next week when WWE is back in the USA.
  22. QUOTE (Brian @ May 18, 2014 -> 05:14 PM) Too bad the guy he catches blows. Danks has given up seven HR's in 21 2/3 innings In May and it's only the 18th.
  23. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ May 18, 2014 -> 04:31 PM) Nieto is now hitting .324.... in 34 at bats. I like Nieto he has been a nice surprise.
  24. QUOTE (RockRaines @ May 18, 2014 -> 04:41 PM) The missed calls are out of control. Toews Goal 3-1 Hawks. Hawks win 3-1...............Take 1-0 series lead.
  25. QUOTE (oldsox @ May 18, 2014 -> 04:02 PM) The SI cover jinx is still alive. Yes it is dammit.
