  1. Rienzo has shut KC down both innings Sox have scored nice job.
  2. DV has been up 3 times with 2 out and RISP. DV is now 1-3.
  3. QUOTE (Thad Bosley @ May 20, 2014 -> 08:27 PM) Which toolsy picks are you referring to that he professed this love for? Mitchell? Borchard? I don't remember him particularly going crazy talking about either of them, but I could be wrong. Mitchell and Walker both most recently. He talked about it many times during the June broadcasts after they were drafted.
  4. Flowers HR 2-2
  5. QUOTE (Thad Bosley @ May 20, 2014 -> 08:20 PM) He just said he doesn't care for drafting the "best athlete available", i.e. the toolsy player. In the past he has loved the toolsy picks after watching Sox with nothing to show for it he finally changed his tune.
  6. KC 2-1 thru 4
  7. QUOTE (fathom @ May 20, 2014 -> 08:14 PM) Stone agreed, and usually they might as well be the publicist for the franchise. Yet Hawk loves the toolsy picked players and how is that working out Hawk? Sox cannot even call up a decent OF we have to get scraps off waivers.
  8. QUOTE (fathom @ May 20, 2014 -> 08:12 PM) Hawk just said a high school pitcher is the worst draft choice in baseball.....UGH Glad he is not involved in Sox pick at 3.
  9. QUOTE (fathom @ May 20, 2014 -> 07:52 PM) Shields or Masterson seems more likely. Pass on Masterson his fastball is down 3 mph from last year. He does not look the same this year at all.
  10. Need another 2 out hit Tank.
  11. QUOTE (Leonard Zelig @ May 20, 2014 -> 07:44 PM) I'm pulling for the 27th because I'll be in town for the game. He will be back for Yankess series love to see Sale/Tanaka Sunday.
  12. KC 2-1 leadoff walk scores.
  13. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ May 20, 2014 -> 07:28 PM) Hey- a 1st inning in which we don't allow 3+ runs!! I like this pattern better.
  14. Nice inning and kept the lead.
  15. Swing the bat Dunn.
  16. Sox 1-0 nice 2 out hit DV.
  17. Nice triple.
  18. Agent Scott Boras told FOX Sports' Jon Morosi that Alex Guerrero's ear was "displaced by a bite" during an altercation with Triple-A Albuquerque teammate Miguel Olivo. Well then. It's not clear what caused the incident, but Dodgers general manager Ned Colletti said Tuesday that the club is looking into it. Guerrero is undergoing plastic surgery on his ear. The Cuban defector is hitting .368/.411/.737 with 10 homers and 29 RBI in 32 games this season at Albuquerque. Per Rotoworld Olivo doing his best Mike Tyson.
  19. I like how media saying Hillary Clinton's brain injury is off limits to talk about but EVERYTHING on Sarah Palin was ok. Pot meet kettle.
  20. A Ventura in both dugouts tonight.
  21. QUOTE (fathom @ May 20, 2014 -> 04:04 PM) Hopefully it was planned to be this short, as that doesn't seem like a full bullpen session. Dan Hayes ‏@DanHayesCSN 10m Chris Sale's bullpen session lasted around 20 pitches. He's headed back in. Should have word on him and closer from Ventura in an hour. White Sox manager Robin Ventura on Tuesday refused to name a set closer while Matt Lindstrom (ankle) was on the disabled list. Ventura mentioned that he has a few options among guys that have pitched well lately. Ronald Belisario would certainly qualify, as he hasn't allowed an earned run in his last 17 1/3 innings and boasts 13/1 K/BB ratio over that time. Daniel Webb and Jacob Petricka, who earned the save Monday after Lindstrom exited, could also be in the mix. Per Rotoworld.
  22. Nice comeback win.
  23. Sox win 7-6.............what a crazy game.
