  1. Sierra is not long for this team.
  2. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ May 8, 2014 -> 10:07 PM) Nickel CB's are on the field 70% of the time in this league and Peanut was hurt for a while. This will help Bears significantly and the guy has potential to be a shut down corner which we have a major need for. If you wanted to move him to FS, he probably profiles better then the safety's on the board too but the fact is a lot of scouts thought this guy was the best corner in the league and we have two corners on the wrong side of 30 and we are in a division with some elite passing offenses and wideouts. We can't afford not having top cover corners because if we don't have those, we will get torched. I think we will draft another corner and likely move them to FS. Could go with safety in round 2, although I think my ideal scenario is quite a few DT's we all like there in the 2nd and we maybe have the ability to move down a bit and try and get an extra 4th rounder and still get the DT and thus give us some ammo to take another CB (who we can convert), a RB, and a speed wideout or line backer (i'm even ok with another DT). Tucker is putting in his system this year in Jacksonville as DC he played nickel less than 50% maybe that will change nobody knows yet. Fuller will be good down the road especially in 2015 when Peanut is gone, but I want the 14th pick on the draft starting from day 1 not playing 50% or 70% of the snaps. I do agree Bears can go many direction in round 2 and 3.
  3. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ May 8, 2014 -> 09:45 PM) I think the Browns just drafted Colt McCoy again. I hope I'm wrong though as I actually like Johnny football. Johnny football hates the cold also welcome to Cleveland.
  4. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ May 8, 2014 -> 09:41 PM) I wanted to move down given Donald went, however, Fuller has some nice tools and I think having a strong cover corner more important then safety. Happy with the pick but I was one of the few that kept talking up the Bears taking a corner over safety and a lot of that had to do with the fact that I didn't think this was an elite safety class and therefor felt it may not make sense to take one in the first round. Like going db as a whole knowing there should be a DT available in the 2nd round that has a first round grade (hopefully at least). Emery said he will stay at corner and play nickel downs mostly this year. If that is the case it is a bad pick for 2014 playing only 3rd downs in the nickel over a starting safety does not help the Bears much in 2014. In 2015 Fuller taking over for Peanut at corner the pick will help alot more then.
  5. Great Packers get Ha-Ha Dix.
  6. Keep chipping away.
  7. QUOTE (Wanne @ May 8, 2014 -> 08:45 PM) meh. now i'm disappointed...Pryor was a no-brainer IMO. I also wanted Pryor or Ha-Ha........ safety a way bigger need than corner this season....................Conte again this year makes me vomit. I think Bears thought McDonald was going to fall to them Rams took him at 13. I wonder If Fuller starts at corner and Tillman moves to safety.
  8. FYI...................Bears take Kyle Fuller CB at 14
  9. Bears take Kyle Fuller CB
  10. No answer
  11. Bad inning lets get some back.
  12. Carroll rough night.
  13. We score then give up runs did not see that coming.
  14. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 8, 2014 -> 08:02 PM) As if on cue... Just have to laugh.
  15. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ May 8, 2014 -> 07:54 PM) They did, but Cleveland is still probably getting a top 8-10 pick next year out of it. I agree but I cannot fault Buffalo on the deal. Cleveland is also happy.
  16. Sierra has to be at 2nd base on that.
  17. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ May 8, 2014 -> 07:39 PM) And what a haul for Cleveland for moving down 5 spots. Buffalo got a huge playmaker. Gives me a reason to watch my AFC team Bills.
  18. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ May 8, 2014 -> 07:45 PM) Is a 0.59 era sustainable? MLB Show 14 ........yes.
  19. Living dangerous so far.
  20. Glad Connor is back.
  21. Nice DP
  22. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ May 8, 2014 -> 01:32 PM) OK, I decided to answer my own question. I used the point chart from NBC Sports. Bears 14th pick = 1100 points Jets 18th pick = 900 points Jets 80th pick (Rd 3) = 190 points Jets 209th pick (Rd 6 compensatory) = 7.8 points, total of 1097.8 points I guess if you go "by the book" that would be the deal. Sounds like a deal Bears need more picks.
  23. QUOTE (GoSox05 @ May 8, 2014 -> 11:47 AM) Just wait. "Tonight, picks 17-24. Join us tomorrow for picks 25-32." "Day 14 of draft month!" NFL going to 1 pick a day model soon will be the next headline. The Houston Chronicle now says the Texans are asking for a first, second, and third-rounder this year plus a first-rounder in 2015 in exchange for Thursday's No. 1 overall pick.
  24. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 8, 2014 -> 12:03 PM) He isn't a fan of anyone but his ratings. He is a highly paid troll that makes money off of upsetting people into calling his show to listen to what stupid thing gets said next. Don't fall for the act. I never fell for his act. You can see by my post I am no fan of his nonsense as some in this thread are.
