  1. QUOTE(tony72 @ Aug 27, 2006 -> 01:47 PM) I think we win today.. I think so too.
  2. QUOTE(KFran @ Aug 27, 2006 -> 10:57 AM) I'm a girl... Also, we will ride this out as long as we can! Just as you all did last season. We don't need to be concerned right now with how we perform next season, all I know is we are beating that a**, and smelling out RBI's against your higher payroll with our crappy dome! Your method still hasn't gotten you guys a World Series ring. You may be in the playoffs and we may not, but your team still hasn't been to a World Series recently. Also you can call that a crappy dome, but your team knows how to hit the ball on the turf better than anyone else there is, so when you guys get a new stadium, watch out for that because there won't be the turf high bounce for the turf roll.
  3. QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Aug 27, 2006 -> 01:27 PM) Lew Ford has to be on my top 5 list of guys I loathe. The top 25 guys I loathe right now are all on the Twins.
  4. QUOTE(Maverick0984 @ Aug 27, 2006 -> 01:24 PM) well done konerko, i definetly didn't see that coming he's a magician
  5. QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Aug 27, 2006 -> 01:12 PM) I'd hate to see what happens when you have a bad feeling. They scored 1 run, we have to score anyways in order to win. I don't think MB will have a bad outing today.
  6. I have a good feeling with Mark today. Today is the day where our season gets turned around. there we go
  7. ouch........lol the umpire must've felt his pain on that one, he was feeling his own.
  8. QUOTE(The Critic @ Aug 27, 2006 -> 10:24 AM) If defense wins titles, Uribe needs to stay at SS. His defense there is very good. Dye should stay in the 3 hole, but he won't. Gload in LF would be scary, but Pods hasn't exactly been reassuring out there either, so who knows? If defense wins titles, which I believe does, Anderson needs to be the starting center fielder. That's the big change that needs to be done.
  9. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Aug 26, 2006 -> 10:26 PM) Phone busy on my first try. First caller into the PFB show thinks that Ozzie made all the right moves last night. Shockingly he gets through. Someone gives PFB a tug on the nuts, and he is the skype caller of the show. Wow that was quick. He usually saves that for his more negative callers. That's going to be a pretty cranky show and rightfully so.
  10. QUOTE(cgaudin @ Aug 26, 2006 -> 10:17 PM) Did not capitalize on two Detroit losses, and this pretty much wraps the season as the twins KNOW how to play against the Sox. Get on first, steal second, cheap hit, score. Pierzinski must feel pretty helpless having a pitching staff that has no clue on how to hold runners on, and it reflects on him as much as the pitchers. If the Sox are not 3 games ahead going into that final series......it's over. I think it's over now, honestly, but I can't get myself to stop watching. I'll just have to stock up on Pepto-bismol for the rest of September. Get on first, steal second, cheap hit, score. It just seems so easy with them and yet we have tons of problems scoring with out the long ball.
  11. QUOTE(SinkingShip06 @ Aug 26, 2006 -> 10:16 PM) I think we see the AL Central champs in this series. Congrats to the Twins as they TRULY want it more than our team does. I'm not going to agree with that, I think this team wants it just as bad, well most of the players on the team want it just as bad as the Twins. And I do have to agree that the Central champs could come from this series and it's looking more and more like Minnesota, but there is still a month to play and a lot can happen in a month. Does anyone know what happened to Radke last night and if he's going to be out for a start or not?
  12. Even in a loss I try to look for a positive and the positive is the White Sox came back and never gave up. It doesn't make anyone feel better, as a matter of fact it feels like we just got eliminated in the playoffs and there is no tomorrow. But if the White Sox play with the intensity they played with tonight, they're going to win tomorrow.
  13. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Aug 26, 2006 -> 09:56 PM) It's like they're trying to find a way to make each successive loss more heart-breaking than the one before it. And succeeding. I know, this isn't supposed to be a sad movie or something, come on White Sox.
  14. Punto's just going to get a timely hit right here.
  15. QUOTE(GOD @ Aug 26, 2006 -> 09:51 PM) I don't know why but I have a bad feeling about Thornton it must be bad if GOD has a bad feeling.
  16. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Aug 26, 2006 -> 09:50 PM) All these scrappy little guys, would be surprised if they didn't work one across. Lead off man on, not surprised if that happens.
  17. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Aug 26, 2006 -> 09:49 PM) AJ then the top of the order in the 11th. Can't use Thome to PH either, even if he can. I suppose he could come in for Konerko at DH, but that wouldn't be the best idea.
  18. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Aug 26, 2006 -> 09:49 PM) I apoligize for that last post. Oz seemed to crack my password..... lol
