  1. Well that was low and away. Paulie pulls it, only gets the end of the bat on it, and flys out. Now if he stayed back on it, and hit it back up the middle or to right, maybe it would of went farther. But if you cant pull it, you cant hit it.
  2. Paulie takes ball one. Paulie has a new stance at the plate. Its not the one he started out with this evening.
  3. Kong with a bases loaded situation. I wonder if Kong can lean into one again.
  4. Now its time for the Royals to bring in the ball boy. His name is Timmy and he is 15, but he is left handed and learned how to bounce a slider in the dirt. Thome doesnt have a chance.
  5. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Sep 1, 2006 -> 09:58 PM) Why can't Pods run through first base just once. His speed thingy is broken. Its been broken since about July 20th of last year.
  6. QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Sep 1, 2006 -> 09:57 PM) Our zero tool left fielder ladies and gentlemen. Thank God Ozzie pinch hit for Anderson, Pods never needs a pinch hitter. He is a lefty, leftys are a step closer to 1st.
  7. And so much for Prancer being fast, ball hit dead in the hole, and Teahan has him by 3 steps. Nice blazing speed.
  8. QUOTE(SoxnGiants @ Sep 1, 2006 -> 09:55 PM) Last chance... get us started PODS. Ugh, that's not very re-assuring to type. Anderson gets pinch hit for like he is the plague. But prancer gets to go up because god was lucky enough to bless him with a left hand as his predominant arm. Thank god our Manager is so observant that Lefties can only hit righties, and righties can only hit lefties.
  9. That was a tard swing. Dip your shoulder and put it in the air. Can we hire someone who teaches a line drive swing. This dip and pull crap is dumb.
  10. QUOTE(CYGarland @ Sep 1, 2006 -> 09:48 PM) Crede could have easily tied up this game if he didnt try to hit the ball to Mars. A nice level swing would have been good enough. Alex swings at ball 2 Carlos Lee used to do that. we need a single, and then he swings for the fence and Ks or popsup. But thankfull we got rid of him and Jose and their bat at bats in RISP situations.
  11. QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 1, 2006 -> 09:46 PM) Kinda funny that everyone who has gone up there with a good plan this inning has reached, and the two guys who were trying to hit homers made outs. Well come on, if you dont lift and pull how do you score.
  12. QUOTE(South Side Fireworks Man @ Sep 1, 2006 -> 09:44 PM) Ross comes through again! Start him somewhere every day! But he isnt a fast guy in the Juan Pierre mold, so he cant play LF. We need a noodle armed guy who cant hit, but is fast.
  13. Ozzie must hate Anderson. Prancer will get to hit in this situation, but our guy hititng 300 over the last few months is incapable to come up here. This is a sign that Ozzie will start Mack in CF in the playoffs. If he cant trust him here against the Royals, what happens in a big game in October.
  14. Holy s***, AJ just remembered his twins playing days. He slapped the ball the other way. He may get fined in the Kangaroo Court for not attempting to go deep there.
  15. QUOTE(Maverick0984 @ Sep 1, 2006 -> 09:35 PM) good defense today boys! Starting in CF for your Chicago Whitesox Rob Mackowiak Starting at SS for your Chicago Whitesox Alex Cintron
  16. No protect swings yet. Swing hard just in case. Remember not to fall over.
  17. Now most hitters will take a bit off their swing on a hard thrower. Not the sox. Swing hard just in case you get it.
  18. Paulie gets an RBI. Now he cant GIDP. Way to take one, and not pull the outside away pitch. Now lets see if AJ can remember he was a line drive hitter for the first half of this year, and before our coaching staff got their mitts on them.
  19. low and away again. A bouncer in the other batters box should do it.
  20. QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 1, 2006 -> 09:30 PM) Nice 1-0 swing by PK. 2-1, just keep going low and away. Let the pull monkey take care of himself.
  21. QUOTE(My Dixie Normus @ Sep 1, 2006 -> 09:27 PM) Thome can expect to see nothing but low and away until he proves his hammy will allow him to go get that pitch. Hitting low and away pitches are against the whitesox hitting philosophy. If you cant pull it, you cant possibly hit it. is our motto.
