2011-2012 OFFICIAL NBA LOCKOUT thread
SoxFanForever replied to southsider2k5's topic in Alex’s Olde Tyme Sports Pub
So now that the draft is over can we please get a real 2 guard so that Bogans is riding the pine or on another team? I'm in the OJ Mayo camp personally and wouldn't have minded dealing Omer for him. Any chance we use resources from this draft to make a trade in the coming days? -
QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jun 23, 2011 -> 09:34 PM) Trading Richards is stupid. Richards + Dustin Brown on a line would be pretty brutal for opposing teams.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jun 23, 2011 -> 11:08 PM) Facts? As in this draft? I can't provide facts right now. It's all personal opinion. These f***ers haven't played in the NBA yet. You are obviously basing your opinion on something. Why not provide that reasoning instead of just coming off as a contrarian? -

and Irving goes #1. Not a big surprise there. -
They are ditching Carter and Richards? Are they expecting Danny Briere to score 60 goals next year?

QUOTE (greg775 @ Jun 22, 2011 -> 10:59 PM) 1.) We don't win the WS without this prick. 2.) Who cares if AJ showed up Peavy. Did you want to lose the game? We were on our way to blowing another game. Thank you, AJ, for helping us win. Everybody's afraid of Peavy, including Oz. I love what AJ did. Somebody now needs to man up to Dunn to wake his lard ass up. What does winning a world series 6 years ago have to do with AJ showing up one of our pitchers? We don't win the World Series without Crede, Cliff Politte or Neal Cotts. Do you want them on the team too? Also, AJ doesn't need to show the guy up to get him out of the game. It was obvious to everyone that he ran out of steam. He was coming out regardless.

F*** It, Part 2: Electric Boogaloo. Its just the Cubs

QUOTE (skidoochic @ Jun 22, 2011 -> 09:56 PM) I know you guys are all done complaining about A.J. but I think you are nuts. I was screaming at my TV to pull that idiot Peavy long before A.J. made the sign. Peavy is a huge waste of money. I say trade his butt and send Dunn and Rios with him. Maybe we could get some players worth something and with a little more emotion for the game - like A.J.!!!! Yeah, let's get rid of Dunn!!! He is the devil!! Do you realize he has more home runs, RBI and his OBP is only 9 points less than AJ despite playing probably the worst baseball of his life? Oh right, he has no passion and no track record of success. -

Awesome pitchout. I think Bob in the second row almost had it. -

QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jun 22, 2011 -> 09:23 PM) Its impossible to tell what happened with Peavy and AJ. It seemingly came out of nowhere but ended in anger. Best guess is it had something to do with pitch selection. Right before the homerun I saw Jake shake off AJ and then next pitch, poof. That's my best guess. -

Who are your favourite non-Sox players?
SoxFanForever replied to Leonard Washington's topic in The Diamond Club
Despite being an old timer now, I have always been a fan of Chipper. Dude can straight up hit. Besides him, Longoria, Tulo, Zimmerman (when he is healthy), HanRam and also used to really like Billy Wagner.
