Jeff Manto should get some credit for Garcia's hitting success. He encouraged and worked with him about going the other way. Seems to have worked. I remember seeing this kid last year towards the end of the season when he was called up by the Tigers. I wondered then if they had another Cabrera type on their hands and I was worried. Now he is a Sox player and that's a good thing

Fans can be so unforgiving. As Balta said Alexei still can outshine anyone we have currently in the system. I think 2014 will be better and AR will have that focus again. You don't just throw the guy away because he has a difficult defensive year

I had been preaching to Adam Dunn to take it to the opposite field. Apparently he reafs Soxtalk cause he did. Average up to about .240 now. I said before he we could see a .250 or so average he would be awesome

I think Alexei might be trade bait this winter but I really like the guy. I hope he and Beckham anchor the middle for a few more years. I think 3B and maybe 1B will be our issue next year. Possibly even RF
