I was going to use a quote here, but everyone has good points. I think the thing to be happy about is the fact that even though our pitching wasn't that sharp our offense picked them up. Look at the scores of 9-6, 15-4 and 8-6 in 11. The offense has been doing it since the all-star break and right now is the right time to be doing it. Pitching will from time to time slip and then rebound. Offense is the same way and that when one has to pick up the other. We have also had the pitching and hitting doing good at the same time. I feel real good about this team and its chances of winning.

I was returning home from a few days on the road and while travelling the great highways of America tuned in the radio last night to find baseball games. I happened to catch part of the Rockies-Reds game broadcast by a Colorado station and listed while they expressed their amazemewnt about how it seemed D'Angelo Jimenez of the Reds didn't know what out it was in the inning beasue he had made some goofy attempt to throw to first on a two-out force at 2nd. He apprently thought there was only one out. They were calling out that he needed to get his head in the game. I see that he also made an error in that game. I made it home in time to see the Sox highlights on ESPN and they showed the Robbie Alomar dive for a grounder, roll and toss to 1st for the out. Never saw that from DJ.
