Dont be surprised if wont dont sign anyone that Hermanson becomes the starting pitcher. I watch a couple of games an he was able to at least go 5 or 6 innings for us.
-
I could see garland and marte and our prospect be gone for javy
-
So let me guess their still saying it? hmmm wow figures. By the way I knew it was too good to be just a rumor.
-
espn raido 1000 is that the 3 way deal is done in principal. Meaning this trade has no affect on us. Could a trade happeened after this? we will wait and see. I will stand on this position is I dont want us trade Konerko away. We need him in our offense and if we get perez it will be good offseason.
-
Oh really and wasnt kenny the one who said the first day winter meetings I will not have anything major to report. Next few hrs find out we signed dye. Hey ny post and ny people reported and so did offman. Bruce can say whatever he wants to say until something happeeneds I will still keep this a rumor.
-
Addison bruce can report whatever he wants until something happeneds I will believe it. I will list anything and everything that deals with our team. I heard his comments and until kenny willams get on raido says it than I believe it . But then again he could be using the under the radar tatic. All I know anything can happeened.

Hello, I have not been home all day but did hear the news from bruce levine saying that it was completely fals. Thing is New york sources are much better than are sources. Espically when they were first ones to metion Jermiane dye signing and then bruce had to go find out later. I duno if we are in this or not. All I know is kenny and ozzie want javy. They had crush on this guy and hearing about perez is good also. Now bruce might change his mind in next couple days. We will sure find out shortely. But thanks to person who apologized to me. I was about go bed early morning at 3 and then I saw this stuff flying right at me and didnt go to sleep till 5. If I have any information I will for sure post in here.

Good morning people, I cant believed I stayed up till 4 in morning breaking this thing out for us guys. But I hope hear the news either later today or later next wekk. Have a good day all

Guys when I read the paper and heard the three names on daily news and rotoworld I was livid and ready go find kenny know wherever his location is now since hes hiding from us. But when I was yelling my friend he agreed that the trade make no sense for use trade all that for javy but understands if it was for unit. So when he reported it prospects and konerko part I felt alot better and yet felt like maybe hes lying. But then guy lives in texas just metioned konerko name. Meaning the prospect part not a big deal. So Im hearing this from them and if you want their sn's on aol I will be more than glad give you them.
-
Yeah I started my thread off and then got deleted. Which posted that same article. For those who didnt believe me that we are in this Im shown it again for those that dont bother to read pages 1 and 2. My friend told me this it be konerko and prospects. Because like I said it be worst trade in our franchise or our history to do that. Kenny is not that dumb guys and hes not going let everyone go. So if just konerko and prospects be happy guys. My friend in texas also heard konerko and prospects and my friend in ny heard it on the raido to where they live. The score just said the 3 players would get traded for. Either way chisox name is out there and im telling you what I hear.

The fourth team in the Randy Johnson deal could be the White Sox. They'd get Javier Vazquez from the Dodgers for some combination or Paul Konerko, Damaso Marte and Jon Garland. Or maybe other players. We don't think this makes any more sense for the Dodgers. Getting Marte would make up for losing Yhency Brazoban, but Konerko isn't enough of an upgrade over Hee Seop Choi to be worthy of the extra $8 million in salary and Garland is barely worth the $3.5 million he's getting paid, although we're sure he'd put up solid numbers in Los Angeles. Maybe Paul DePodesta will make things work out in the end, but we don't like what we're hearing so far. Dec. 18 - 4:44 am et rotoworld

At last, Randy Bronx bound! Yankees pull an ace in 3-team exchange BY SAM BORDEN and BILL MADDEN DAILY NEWS WRITERS The Yankees get: Randy Johnson (from Arizona) ... ... and Kazuhisa Ishii (from the Dodgers). The Big Unit is coming to the Yankees After day-long negotiations at the highest level, the Yankees, Diamondbacks and Dodgers agreed in principle to the blockbuster trade that will put Randy Johnson in pinstripes, according to sources with knowledge of the situation. The trade has Shawn Green, Brad Penny, Yhency Brazoban and prospect Brandon Weeden going from L.A. to Arizona; Javier Vazquez and two Yankee prospects (Dioner Navarro and Eric Duncan) going from the Bronx to the Dodgers; and the Big Unit along with L.A. lefthander Kaz Ishii coming to New York. The deal most likely will be announced in a few days, with so many players involved. Penny told ESPN Radio last night that he is scheduled to take a physical for Arizona next week. The initial framework of the deal did not have the Yankees getting Ishii, but the Dodgers appear determined to shed significant salary in the exchange. Along those lines, the Dodgers are now expected to spin off Vazquez to a fourth team, believed to be the White Sox, for a combination of players believed to include first baseman Paul Konerko, lefty reliever Damaso Marte and righty starter Jon Garland. There is no cash changing hands in the trade since Johnson and Green both make about $16 million. In one-on-one talks between the Yanks and D-Backs, Arizona had been demanding that the Yankees kick in $19.5 million to help cover the $35.5 million owed to Vazquez over the next three seasons. Details of the trade, such as the handling of deferred money and other benefits in Johnson's contract, still need to be worked out and all players must pass physicals before the deal can be officially announced. Both Green and Johnson had no-trade clauses but waived them yesterday as part of the final negotiations between the clubs. Yankees GM Brian Cashman would not comment on the deal yesterday and Arizona GM Joe Garagiola did not return phone calls. The trade was constructed on higher levels within the organizations, after discussions between Arizona and New York were renewed earlier this week when D-Backs incoming CEO Jeff Moorad called Yanks president Randy Levine. One of Johnson's agents, Barry Meister, said he had no comment on the situation yesterday, but the 41-year-old lefty has been at the center of the Yankees' offseason plans. George Steinbrenner has coveted Johnson and has frequently called team executives to monitor progress on a potential trade for the ace, even as the Bombers were working out deals with free agent righthanders Carl Pavano and Jaret Wright. Trade talks between the teams heated up over the summer, but no deal was reached before the July 31 trading deadline. Discussions picked up again earlier this winter, but the Yankees balked on Dec. 1 after Arizona asked for a package that included Vazquez, Tom Gordon, $19.5 million and a slew of prospects or, alternatively, one of 10 starting pitchers the Yanks would have to acquire from another team. It became clear, however, during a meeting last weekend between Johnson's agents and D-Backs executives that Johnson wasn't interested in giving Arizona a discount on a contract extension and wanted to be dealt. Two days later, Moorad renewed talks with the Yankees, and now Johnson is heading exactly where he and The Boss want him to go. For that to happen, the Yankees had to get other teams involved. On paper, the Dodgers appear to be getting the short end. Having given up All-Star catcher Paul Lo Duca and their primary setup man, Guillermo Mota, for Penny and young Hee Seop Choi last July, this deal, on the surface for them, amounts to Mota, Lo Duca, Green and Brazoban for only one proven major leaguer, Vazquez. "(Dodgers GM Paul) DePodesta is too smart for that," a source involved in the deal said. "I'm sure there's another deal - or deals - in the works for the Dodgers where Vazquez is going to fill their needs." The White Sox have been interested in Vazquez for months and manager Ozzie Guillen spoke several times at the winter meetings last week about how he believed his club was involved in multi-team trade talks. One White Sox insider said Guillen frequently raved about "what a talented pitcher (Vazquez) is - he'd do really well for us and would fit in well." Also, DePodesta saves money on getting Konerko (due $8 million) to replace Green ($16 million) while the Yanks agreed to pay $2 million of Ishii's $5 million salary.

Reinsdorf: Kenny the payroll is getting to high. You need dump either lee or konerko Kenny: But do I have to? Reinsdorf : do it now or your fired Kenny: Alright alright.
-
hey somebody give me stats of 5th starter since kennys been here
-
Well I play at college of benedictine. Im a lefty that had tommy john surgery on my arm over yr ago and now 100 percent. Fastball toped at around 85-89.
-
Pal, where have you been last 2-3 yrs? Have you not seen the 5th starter spot?? are you gonna tell me that he couldnt get a free agent pitcher last 2 yrs??? Yes he could of and he could not sign hermason and used money of 5 mil with lee money get a pitcher. Dont you tell me this first time. Its been like this all the time.
-
Guys dont ya get it. The whitesox are under ozzie's philosophy and right now the team is heading another direction. Ozzie wants team play small ball. Thing is the American League is not small ball at all. Ozzie has 2 yr contract and I gurantee by the end of yr. we will resign him back. Yes, we lost out on clement. But, thing is we can't outbid people. Now one problem I do have with Kenny Willams is why did he just sign Hermanson and use that money to get the pitcher? Kenny saying hermanson was a part of Plan A and quite frankily plan A signing Hermanson and Visquel really does suck. Then plan b to trade lee free up money and get faster team. I agree we need have faster guys on the team. Dye signing was great and I compliment Kenny for that. But one thing that just ticks me off the most is the last 2-3 yrs he has seen 5th spot done crap and looking at the record just danm well shows it. Kenny your goal of trading lee should of been for pitcher and quite frankily kenny has not done his job and he keeps avoding it thinking its going be ok with Grilli or the rest of minor leaguers. Did kenny not get it when we saw almost all our minor league talent get shelled at 5th starter ? do we need to hit him with fastball to head like happeened sosa to show that we need a guy that can at least pitch 5-6 innings and give up 2-3 runs. Is that to hard to ask. By the way you wanna talk about problems, I gurantee you if we sign Aj I will stand by my point that if their was problems of carlos lee attitude then what hell you think ur getting with aj? It makes no sense other than we need better catcher. But if lee attitude was reason we traded him I will certainely be pisst because he had option on his contract come back like konerko who dosen't. Could you imagine Paul Konerko, Carlos Lee, Magglio Ordonez all gone in one yr. I forgot the rising success of Joe Boarchard is what Kenny is waiting on. Kenny has views on players and when Reinsdorf look at some player he sees it in his eyes hes worth his price and is ignoarnt to step up the price. The only guy he step up for was Albert Belle. I hope to say that Kenny grade so far is C at this moment . It could change from now. I hope Kenny does something about 5th spot because this is not only year chicago white fans have complained about it. Get working Kenny
