  1. LOL. BA crushed that ball. Compared to the past 2 months anyway.
  2. Hitting it hard right at people. Need some seeing eye singles guys. Need to breakout on offense. Only over 5 runs twice since Memorial Day.
  3. QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 11, 2006 -> 06:50 PM) He does this every game now. Yah. Every game.
  4. Here's hoping BA can maybe even get the ball to the outfield tonight. Baby steps. Lineup is solid except for the 9 hole.
  5. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jun 10, 2006 -> 02:59 PM) 2005, that's pretty much all I can say. Oh, and Ozuna is this team's sparkplug. But I thought Martinez beat us today? Oh wait...
  6. Love to see all the posts that said the game was over throughout the game thread. YOu think people would learn but now. Great game guys.
  7. Great play to have him bunting. Great job Mack after last week.
  8. QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 10, 2006 -> 02:09 PM) Terrible AB by Ozuna. I think why he only faces lefties usually. He has 7 hits in 18 ABs against Righties this year.
  9. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jun 10, 2006 -> 01:33 PM) Cleveland hits a whopping .288 with RISP. The White Sox hit a pathetic .288. No way! But we're not clutch! THat number can't be right. .288??? I thought it'd be closer to .188.
  10. Anybody know how much better Cleveland hits with RISP? Any guesses?
  11. Bobby was due a scary outing. Cmon big man. Pitch through it.
  12. QUOTE(KevHead0881 @ Jun 9, 2006 -> 09:14 PM) This is why people who give up on games in the 6th inning make me want to drink gasoline. Not me. They are lots of fun to laugh at!
  13. QUOTE(Brian @ Jun 9, 2006 -> 09:13 PM) WHere's the poster who said this game was over? I think you need to make that plural.
  14. QUOTE(santo=dorf @ Jun 9, 2006 -> 09:10 PM) Mother of mercy, please give JD another homer!!! I'd take a blooper. We are due a blooper.
  15. Detroit chokes away a 3 run eighth inning lead. 7-5 Jays.
  16. QUOTE(greg775 @ Jun 9, 2006 -> 08:26 PM) The Sox have been so ordinary lately. We're lucky we're nto 7 games back. I'm not sure how we arent 7 games back.
  17. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Jun 9, 2006 -> 08:25 PM) Not really, just made a big error right there. Unfortunately he's not as lights out as last season though. Yah. That's a terrible pitch. Just frustrating. The way we are playing is just frustrating.
  18. It'll be interesting to see how he pitches when he isn't down 4 runs. Hopefully he'll continue to throw strikes.
  19. QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 8, 2006 -> 08:37 PM) Again, I repeat....where was the play that wasn't made that would have gotten him out of the inning. Jphat...you know I was furious with Mackowiak in that inning. However, Garland was unable to get the third out in that inning, and it lost us the game. If he pitches the way he did tonight though, he'll usually have better results. Mack should have thrown out Pudge easily for one. For two Garland made two awesome pitches to get out of that inning, and it didn't work out. Then he made one bad pitch, and sure it'd be nice if he didn't make that pitch, but I'm not gonna say he pitched a bad game because of that one bad pitch. QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 8, 2006 -> 08:39 PM) The name of the game is to get an out. If he throws strikes, he has enough stuff to pitch at this level. I have more confidence in him than I do Montero. Exactly. And that is why JG gets the loss. But that doesn't mean he pitched poorly. He pitched well, things didn't go his way, and got the loss. He was gonna get it whether he gave up that bomb or not.
