  1. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Jun 15, 2006 -> 06:54 PM) Smoking Reiniker right now... 2-0, Dye pretty much gave himself up to get Paul in, not a bad play actaully... Great play. Paulie was a gone goose.

I just watched the fight from the Detroit game in 2000 the other day. That thing was so bad ass. Bill Simas coming running into the pile. FIck acting like an asshole. Surprisingly, Hawk wasn't as talkative as I remember. Just kinda sat there and watched. There were like 2 big fights and a mini fight that day. Awesome.

QUOTE(GoRowand33 @ Jun 14, 2006 -> 08:54 PM) thanks I bet tracy doesn't have the balls to intentionally hit someone yet I don't think that's it. I think he just isn't very good, and has zero control. He can't throw it where he wants to.

QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jun 14, 2006 -> 08:52 PM) Ozzie and Showalter got into a fist fight behind home plate after AJ was plunked twice by Padilla. Bloody mess. I saw someone with brass knuckles! Hawk's the best no need to play with the html
  7. Cmon Corcoran....You can DO it.
  8. Ugh. Drays bringing in someone just called up who walks a lot of people. Great move.
  9. I love Jorge Cantu.
  10. Man the Drays suck badly on the road. I can't wait until they come to town.
  11. Will he be a HOF if he keeps this up until he's about 39-40?
  12. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jun 14, 2006 -> 08:08 PM) There's really no one to call up though especially with Politte not due back yet. Is Farnsworth still doing okay? does he throw strikes? PS Ichiro is incredible.
  13. Here it comes. 14 straight hits culminating with a Cintron grand slam. Can't you FEEL it?
  14. QUOTE(knightni @ Jun 14, 2006 -> 08:05 PM) If by 14-spot you mean 1-2-3 inning, then yes. It was a secret code
  15. QUOTE(Felix @ Jun 14, 2006 -> 08:05 PM) The Texas announcers seem to think Tracey will be sent back down after today because of the Tracey miss. I would think he'd be gone for that. That and the fact that he has zero control and will get rocked up here.
  16. I feel a 14 spot coming. PS. Montero ain't half bad.
  17. Gary Matthews was a great pickup. Did he go to Texas in 04?
  18. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Jun 14, 2006 -> 03:33 PM) Yeah, well BA cant hit lefties. Plus I worry about the break taking him out of the rythmn he has started to gain. He's 1-6 with a couple walks in Texas. Scary that it is considered the beginning of a rhythm. I don't think it is going to affect him much. Hopefully he'll come right back tomorrow and really start hitting the ball well.
  19. QUOTE(WCSox @ Jun 12, 2006 -> 07:42 PM) ... and not to mention George Steinbrenner for being an impatient boob. Well, I'm not 100% sure JOse would be the pitcher he is today if he were still in NY. As we know now a lot of it was just being in a bad situation in NY. He needed to get out of there. His stuff was always awesome, but he had to find a spot where he was comfortable.
  20. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Jun 12, 2006 -> 07:38 PM) Count in terms of raw stuff, looks the best he has all year tonight IMO. His lack of strikeouts has shown to me that has stuff wasn't there (and is a credit to how well he's pitched without striking out a ton of people), but tonight he has all the pitches working. And Jose has got through 8, allowing 3 runs, 6 hits, zero walks, 11 k's (career high) and throwing 108 pitches (75 for strikes, damn). And funny enough it's his third worst start of the year results wise, though against one of the better offensive teams in one of the better offensive parks.
  21. QUOTE(Capn12 @ Jun 12, 2006 -> 05:47 PM) I'm glad the Sox are off to a good start. USC looking rather lost right now against Georgia They certainly didn't look lost against my Hoos, and I was at those games.
  22. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Jun 12, 2006 -> 05:38 PM) Is Pablo the greatest player in major league history? I think so. If he's not, it's close
  23. Pablo is such a good hitter. Not the best baserunner ever. Haha.
