MLB Spring Training TV Broadcasts
Pretty much any game that is broadcast by a team's normal station (IE CSN/WGN) is carried by mlbtv. So if it is on some form of regular tv, it'll be on mlb.tv.

What did Kotsay's splits vs righties look like last year?

QUOTE (Princess Dye @ Feb 20, 2010 -> 06:26 PM) I dont get the whole thing where you're ready to shell out $6M with deferments for LH power...and then turn around later and say "no we didnt have a hole to fill." And they'll basically say that if they stand pat. I actually dont want power. I want someone who is going to hit for a decent OBP. That to me is the scary part. We will hit them out of the park. Sadly Damon would have fit both bills. Blaylock wont, but then again I'm convinced we'd just be getting a bench guy anyway if anything. They've already said as much. They said Damon 'would be icing on the cake' and they like the team they have now.

Tigers Sign Damon - 1 yr, 8 mil; NTC
QUOTE (b-Rye @ Feb 20, 2010 -> 05:56 PM) It's not over yet... KW will probably trade some prospects around AS break for a overpaid player after his experiment already failed. And we're 10 games out.

Well I hope somebody is held responsible when Kotsay is hitting .250 and Jones is hurt and we have a Vizquel/Nix DH platoon.

QUOTE (bucket-of-suck @ Feb 20, 2010 -> 04:43 PM) ...and all before they even report to camp. Enjoy the season. I haven't felt this bad about the team in 10+ yeras. I don't even know that it is rational. Maybe it's just because I feel like this is the Twins best team in awhile. I just don't have a good feeling.

I hope the players don't have the same attitude about this team that I have. We'd be done before the season even starts. I hope we have some real breakout years.

QUOTE (chw42 @ Feb 19, 2010 -> 10:27 PM) Boras is a crazy man. A very greedy and crazy one. And very rich.

QUOTE (fathom @ Feb 19, 2010 -> 10:03 PM) Yep, versatility on the bench really isn't that important (especially when you have someone like Vizquel who can play 3 positions). As it stands now, we have an NL roster. Hopefully Jones has a strong season and Quentin stays healthy. Jones certainly has the ability to put up decent numbers. I just don't think he will. Even if we had Damon on the team we still need CQ, Rios, Teahen and Ramirez to all bounce back and have good seasons. 1-2 in that group probably need to have a great season.

KW is f***ing playing games with Boras. Trying to show that he's the boss. He never f***ing talks about offers.

"It became clear to us in our recent negotiations that the money that we were offering was not going to be good enough for Johnny at this time," White Sox general manager Kenny Williams told ESPNChicago.com. "At this particular point, we feel it's necessary to withdraw our offer." The White Sox made a $6 million offer for Damon, according to major league sources. Asked if the White Sox would get back into the running for Damon at some point, Williams said: "As you can see by the way that we kept going after this situation, we are very much interested in the player. All I can say is that I reiterate at this time that this offer for now is off the table." Major league sources said that the White Sox would gladly get back into the negotiations for Damon if they saw more reality in the offer from agent Scott Boras. The crux of the problem with Damon signing all along has been the assumption that there was a two-year deal on the table from the Detroit Tigers. According to sources, that two-year, $14 million deal has never been offered by Detroit. According to another major league source, the Tigers have offered just a one-year, $7 million deal for Damon. f***KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK

QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Feb 19, 2010 -> 04:21 PM) Hey! At least Branyan is---- Blalock, it is. Haha, we're aren't getting anybody else. Until KW sees how awful our offense is come May, and then he'll scramble to get somebody, but'll be too late.
