  1. Exactly. We don't need a SS. We need a 3rd baseman that can consistently hit A LOT more.
  2. He's 35 years old and under a 1-year deal. I don't think he will cost much in the way of prospects. 2 mid-level prospects is exactly what I think Randa will cost. The Reds WILL be moving Randa either way. It wouldn't make any sense to keep him.
  3. I would rather trade for a stud starting pitcher and just grab a cheap guy like Randa for average prospects.

    http://chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/sp...ack=1&cset=true We need the Choad!
  5. I read on another message board that someone said they saw Cubs fans pulling the bat off.
  6. I don't think some people realize that Uribe is here mostly for his defense. Why do you guys think Buehrle and Garland are racking up so many wins? Uribe's defense is a huge key. Move him to 3rd base? Why? He isn't hitting much better than Crede.
  7. They are dropping fast but I don't think they will concede the division just yet.
  8. After Uribe's triple... DJ: "Welcome back, Mr. Excitement."
  9. Rogers just broke his non-pitching hand punching something in the dugout. Also, he always starts out hot and then sucks in the second half. And why would the Rangers want to trade a starting pitcher? They NEED starting pitching. They wouldn't trade it away.
  10. Nothing, which is why I'd rather see him as our long reliever than a starter in our rotation. If McCarthy gets rocked tomorrow night, I think Kenny will be making a deal for a starter.
  11. So do you want to see him start instead? Either way, we are likely stuck with him.
  12. It wouldn't be that bad if we could find a way to dump Vizcaino's $1.3 million salary and Timo's $1 million salary but that would be hard to do.

  14. Our offense is a concern though.
  15. He could replace Cotts as our long reliever and also spot start if needed. Would he be better out of the bullpen than Vizcaino? I think so.
  16. Agreed. El Duque in the bullpen would keep him healthy in case we ever need him to start. Since Cotts has been moved to being more of a late-innings reliever for us, El Duque could take over Cotts' old role of long reliever. Then just trade or dump Vizcaino and we have a really solid bullpen.
  17. I just find it hilarious that he has such an ego and he isn't even that good.
  18. All 5 of the Royals pitchers that were used gave up runs.
  19. Agreed. I was more pissed that he HIT the leadoff triple, not that he was all jacked up about it.
  20. Morneau homers. Wow, the Royals are s***.
  21. We got Cotts in the deal.
  22. Red Sox fans must want Foulke lynched right about now.
  23. Does anyone miss Foulke now? LOL, he sucks ass.
  24. Indians take the lead. Foulke sucks. Hafner had an 0-2 count and hit a grand slam.
