Kenny could probably jump right in and nab Burnett if he wanted to. However, it would likely cost Brandon McCarthy, Carl Everett, and a reliever. The Marlins would throw in outfielder Juan Encarnacion in any deal.

No way in hell. Wood is the most fragile pitcher in baseball and he is due to make a ton of money. He will be back on the DL in a month or two.

Ben Davis hit .231 with a .276 OBP for us last season and people were freaking out about him not being our backup catcher this season.

I keep hearing about how the Yankees are going to shake up their bullpen with some trades and that lefty Buddy Groom could be moved. I wonder if we could trade them Vizcaino for Groom. Then we could use Groom as a situational lefty since Vizcaino really serves no purpose in our bullpen right now.
