Opening Day at Wrigley!
A Flubs fan just called into Murphy on The Score and said he was ready to become a Sox fan after today's choke. Screw off Flubs' lover. We don't need you.

Jay Williams coming back to the NBA next year?
If his leg is okay by now and he can run at full speed, he might be able to make it. But those are two big if's.

Opening Day at Wrigley!
Ryan Dempster is the answer at AAA. He has no business being on a major league team. The guy can't find the plate to save his life. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I just found this photoshop pic at the Flubs' board... Ryan Dumpster

Jay Williams coming back to the NBA next year?
Agreed. If he comes cheap, why not sign him? Frankie Williams needs to go back to college where he was actually good.

Jay Williams coming back to the NBA next year?
I seem to remember Jay saying that if he ever came back to the NBA he would give the Bulls the first shot at signing him.

Jay Williams coming back to the NBA next year?
Agreed. I just found this tidbit of info interesting.

Opening Day at Wrigley!
Yes, it does. Even though Shingo blew it yesterday, it's nice to know that LaTroy is still the king of blowing 1-run leads in Chicago.

Jay Williams coming back to the NBA next year?
ESPN 1000 just reported that Jay Williams said he will make his comeback to the NBA next season. I'm assuming he will give the Bulls the first shot at signing him since they were gracious enough to pay out his full contract after his motorcycle accident. Any thoughts?

Opening Day at Wrigley!
It's funny to hear Busty Baker have to defend LaTroya as the closer again. "Uhhh, yeah we still have confidence in LaTroy. He threw the ball well. We still have confidence in him." Yeah right, Busty. :rolly

Opening Day at Wrigley!
FLUBS LOSE, FLUBS LOSE!!! They are now 1-3 on the season. Flubs' fans will be jumping out of windows soon.

Opening Day at Wrigley!
Don't forget that LaTroy blows the save with a 1-run lead in the 9th. And now Spivey knocks in the go-ahead runs on the 12th inning. Brewers take the lead, 5-3. EDIT: Make that 6-3 Brewers. Ahhh, what a joy it must be to be a Cubs fan.

Brewers take the lead on a nice base hit by Spivey. 5-3 Brewers. AHAHAHAHAAA! Another hit. 6-3 Brewers. Carlos Lee up with runners at 1st and 2nd. Carlos K's. Inning over. 6-3 Brewers. It's do-or-die for the Flubs.

Good lord. You bashed the thread earlier but you are still coming back to read it? :headshake

Leicester plunks Brady Clark to load the bases. 2 outs. Spivey up.

Yep. What a scrub.

People are viewing this thread and want to see the Cubs lose. If you have a problem with it, don't read it. Hardy hits a chopper falling down. Ramirez with a bad throw to 1st base passes Lee's glove. Hardy is safe at 1st base. Branyan advances to 3rd base. 1 out. Helms strikes out. He sucks. 2 outs now.

Carlos Lee
Russell Branyan with a 1-out single. J.J. Hardy up...

So how many strikeouts will Patterson have on the season? Him and Burnitz have to replace Scam-Me's strikeouts somehow. I'm guessing that Patterson will break Adam Dunn's 195 strikeout record this season.

1-2 to Patterson. Throw him junk! De La Rosa rings him up Patterson looking. HAHA! Inning over.

Jorge De La Rosa walks Hairston. 2 outs. Patterson up.

Hairston almost nuts one out of the park foul down the LF line.

Hollandsworth swings at a pitch in the dirt for strike 3. 2 outs. Hairston up.
