  1. I'm sure he's just under a 1-year deal for the league minimum of $312,000.
  2. After seeing some interviews by both Tyson and Eddy it's obvious that Tyson is the more intelligent guy. He is a good speaker but Eddy seems like he's as dumb as a box of rocks.
  3. Seeing Chandler play live is impressive. It seems like he's jumping 5 feet in the air when he grabs rebounds and many times no one will even bother to contest him for it. He's a beast on the boards. My only knock on him is that he complains to much to the officials about getting fouled. He will stay back and give dirty looks to the referees instead of running back to play defense. Many times he's right and he was mugged but he should just run back on D so the opponent can't get an easy fast break.
  4. Agreed, Navarro was a bum. One of the best trades ever... http://www.baseball-reference.com/n/navarja01.shtml
  5. Our lineup would be sick if he could and if Frank was healthy.
  6. Yes, Garland actually pitched well but I could see that 3-run homer by Lee coming from a mile away.
  7. The crowd went friggin' nuts when he drained that deep 3 from the top of the key with a hand in his face. That was nastay! And it's not just his 3-point shot. His driving the lane was pretty damn impressive.
  8. Qwerty, tonight your boy Pike made some of the most impressive moves for a white boy that I have ever seen.
  9. "Curry could return to Bulls lineup next week" http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2028496
  10. I think Ozuna would have to hit at the Borchard line to be the one to go. The fact that he can play 2B, SS, 3B, and the OF makes him too valuable.
  11. I think we can get by alright without him but we definately need him for the playoffs.
  12. Othella has always been a good player. He can post up on guys and can rebound. He's probably one of the more underrated players in the NBA. But I damn sure don't believe he only weighs 235.
  13. Don't worry I'm an edit whore as well. See...
  14. Just got back from the game. I have to give Qwerty's boys some props. Pike was a stud tonight. Chandler was a beast on the boards. My boy Othella had a huge game. Even Duhon shot really well. Noc's defense is impressive. He is always hustling and diving for balls. I like Pargo but he seems to love to take stupid shots. But that had to be Ben's worst game of the season. He just kept making stupid fouls early. Skiles reamed the guys in the 1st quarter after they had that big lead and then pissed it away. No Curry and no Deng and we are still winning! I'm drinking a few PBR's to celebrate the victory!
  15. Agreed. No way we give up on a guy who could be a stud and won't cost $10 million a year like Sheets.
  16. We would probably have to give up McCarthy to get Sheets anyways. Afterall, we had to give up Reed AND Olivo for Garcia. Sheets definately wouldn't come cheap.
  17. I never said it was good, did I? I was just trying to be accurate. Curry's rebounding was a little bit better last season when he averaged 6.2 rebounds per game. His weight loss probably had a little something to do with it. But his effort probably has a bigger thing to do with it though. Yeah, I've heard that. I think Charles Barkley was listed as 6'5" by the NBA but he is really only 6'4".
  18. I was wondering the same thing when Othella started at center the other day.
  19. Sorry, even joking about hopping on the field isn't funny. Sox fans got such a bad rep from the Gamboa incident.
  20. Well, I'm not the one who just spent 5 days in state prision. Would you like a cookie for your efforts?
  21. The Brewers are currently trying to sign him to a deal similar to Johan Santana's -- 4 years, $40 million.
