  1. Willie has all the speed in the world but can't do anything with it because he is a horrible base-runner. I bet Ozzie likes Timo more because he actually KNOWS how to run the bases.
  2. Timo with a sac-fly to CF. Rowand tags and scores. And that's why Timo will stay on the roster over Willie. Timo is great with RISP and can knock in runs, Willie doesn't. 6-5 Brewers.
  3. 2 lefties? Do you really want to see Gload playing anything other than 1B?
  4. Dye knocks in Everett with a single. 6-2 Brewers.
  5. We shall see. I really doubt that though. Kenny loves Timo and he has ripped Willie many times. I mean come on, Kenny has traded for Robbie Alomar twice because Willie couldn't get the job done consistently. I don't see that happening, unless Willie is killing the ball.
  6. Hawk and DJ don't know why Everett has looked bad at the plate. Because he's been batting right-handed all night you maroons!
  7. That's great but Iguchi is the starter so it doesn't really matter. Ozuna's bat will stay on the roster before Willie's glove does. Remember, we need righty bats off the bench.
  8. So does Rowand, Podsednik, and Timo. That makes Willie unnecessary for now.
  9. We need 5 outfielders, we don't need 7 infielders (3 of which play 2B).
  10. Vizcaino has fallen apart against his former team. 6-1 Brewers.
  11. They aren't going to waive Timo and his $1 million salary.
  12. Yeah, I know but the way he's been playing he deserves to be sent down. I'm sure he will be sent down when Frank is healthy.
  13. Widger just made the most amazing stop on a horribly located pitch by Vizcaino.
  14. Yeah, but right now he's playing like a 26th man, especially with the way Ozuna is playing. Ozuna almost makes Willie a waste of a roster spot. I wouldn't be surprised if Willie is one of the cuts, along with Kevin Walker.
  15. Willie should be sent down. He hasn't shown anything at the plate this spring. Since Ozuna can play 2B, SS, 3B, and the OF we have no use for Willie and his never ending, weakass ground-outs. I think he's hitting .229 (11 for 48) this spring. :puke
  16. Ozuna laces a 2-out double down the LF line. He's great. Hawk said that Ozuna is on pace to break the White Sox record for highest batting average in Spring Training with a minimum of 40 plate appearances. The record is from 1969.
  17. Marte gets Jenkins to pop out. Going into the 7th inning. 3-1 Brewers.
  18. Wow. 4 K's for Hermanson (3 looking) in 1 and 2/3 innings. He struck out both Overbay and Lee. Marte in to face Jenkins. 2 outs.
  19. Actually, Contreras wasn't as bad as his box score shows. Iguchi should have thrown a guy out easily at 3rd but instead he went brain-dead and the guy got a triple. The pitch Contreras threw to Spivey to serve up a bomb was awful though. I think Contreras ended with 5 strikeouts in 4 innings.
  20. Carl K's on a nastay breaking ball by Ricky Bottalico.
  21. And Hermanson strikes out the next two batters. Good inning for Hermie.
  22. Rowand makes a running/diving catch. Nice.
