  1. I don't think that lineup is right. Everett should be batting 3rd and Dye should be batting 5th, at least against righties. Ozzie even said this. Also, the guy made a typo and it says that both Podsednik and Rowand will start in CF.
  2. Exactly my point. That is true. They are sometimes pretty funny when they bash scrubs.
  3. Supposedly, Magg$ went to Austria for some shock therapy on his knee.
  4. Hinrich was 6 for 11 and he made one of his two 3-point attempts. What's wrong with that?
  5. What's the magic number to clinch our playoff berth now? I'm going to the game on Saturday night.
  6. 8 game winning streak? My lord... 40-31
  7. 99-88 Bulls. They are shutting them out in OT.
  8. LeBron shoots way too much. Is he Kobe Part 2?
  9. Hell has frozen over, qwerty. By the way, the NBA.com scoreboard says Ben has 8 assists.
  10. Damn, she got anorexic. She used to be alot more filled out way back in the day.
  11. RotoWorld is great because you can find all the latest moves all in one place but the comments are pretty lame. They seem to think that any young prospect with good minor league stats can be great in the MLB and better than proven veterans.
  12. Isn't Pierzynski good at calling games and blocking balls? I thought just his throwing arm sucked.
  13. It looks like the Tigers will keep Higginson instead of trading him...
  14. The funny thing is that no one ever even brought up the word "sabermetrics" in this thread. Could it be that because you are a believer in sabermetrics or a "stat-head" that you are defending Neyer at all costs?
  15. Yep, I forgot about that. Neyer said that Dye would be one of the best free agent bargain signings of the offseason... November 12, 2004 Neyer: To Dye for "Jermaine Dye, Richard Hidalgo and J.D. Drew are among Rob Neyer's best free-agent OF buys for 2005." ... And then he didn't even know which team had signed Dye. :headshake
  16. So in Neyer's opinion, signing Dye removed the Sox from the list of 10 teams that had the worst offseason and made them the favorite to win the A.L. Central? Are you for real? The guy is a back-tracking hack. How are you defending this kind of rubbish? :headshake
  17. I just posted that for comparison's sake.
  18. "Webber hurt shoulder Wednesday night" http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2027056
  19. Then explain to me why Neyer is now picking the White Sox to win the A.L. Central after saying that they had one of the 10 worst offseasons in baseball. Sounds pretty ridiculous to me. It's almost like he heard from someone else that the White Sox would be good this season so he just agreed. HACK.
