  1. Nova starting to run away with this thing.
  2. QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Mar 9, 2006 -> 07:12 PM) If that is your feeling then you are not who this is directed toward. Directed at me obviously. Rex, no joke here I have absolutely 0 money. I'm a college kid who doesn't work and I just went to St. Louis over the weekend for the mvc tourny and spent basically all of my money. I also already have 15 bucks in tournament pools and krush already took 20 bucks from me . I'm also not going to be a person that rubs it in anyone's face if Zaga loses before the sweet 16. I'm going to want it to happen and be happy if it does because I'm going to have them gone in my pools but no one is going to hear about it from me.
  3. QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Mar 9, 2006 -> 06:43 PM) Who do you guys like in Pitt/WVirginia tonight? I like Pitt, not pittsnogle, pitt. Anyways, Douby has 24 in the first half..he's good.
  4. Quincy Douby is a serious stud, to bad he is Rutgers.
  5. QUOTE(MarlinFan84 @ Mar 9, 2006 -> 03:59 PM) You will all laugh, but: Nova, Ohio St, Gonzaga, and SIU(I've never picked them before, but I think this is the MVC's year to get one in the F4...plus, I pray alot). Ohio State over Nova Gonzaga over SIU Ohio State over Gonzaga, barely Ha, I love SIU but final four ain't happening, though if there was any year they could do it I guess it'd be this year. SIU would beat Gonzaga by the way, Morrison would seriously be on the bench crying after getting beat up by the Salukis d.
  6. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Mar 9, 2006 -> 03:45 PM) They are squarely on the bubble with that loss IMO. It's 50/50, they are going to end up on the "last 4 in/last 4 out" line. My guess is they don't get in since the Duke win is their ONLY RPI top 50 win. It'd be a shame if they get in instead of one of the valley teams.
  7. QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Mar 9, 2006 -> 03:48 PM) Marquette is down seven with :50 seconds left. Really, really stupid play by Fitzgerald on the last possession. BTW -- is Marquette a lock for the tourney, even without this win? Will 20-10, 10-6 in conference, get them in? They're a lock, don't worry Mr. IC.
  8. QUOTE(Jimbo's Drinker @ Mar 9, 2006 -> 03:17 PM) If michigan loses, are they still in the tourney?? That is like 8/11 losses, that is horrid. Bubblicious. It'll be close, I'd bet on them still making it though unfortunately.
  9. QUOTE(MarlinFan84 @ Mar 9, 2006 -> 02:40 PM) But, if a team wins the tourney and conference outright in the best conference, a #1 seed should be given. I know the brackets are mostly done, but last minute changes have to be made. I dont see how Memphis is a #1 over tOSU as it is. It's extremely close, Memphis is one better in the rpi, osu's sos is a little stronger, memphis is 6 and 3 vs the top 50 while osu is 7 and 4 against the top 50. It's really a coin toss.
  10. Gophers up 7 with 9 to go. Michigan might want to wake up or they're going to find themselves squarely on the bubble.
  11. QUOTE(MarlinFan84 @ Mar 9, 2006 -> 02:35 PM) I agree, but I still think 5 is likely. With all the upsets lately, like I said they have mostly been offset because the upset was a team that would likely make the tourney anyway(except Temple). So I ask this question: Which bubble team gets taken off first: mid major who truly deserves it, played hard all year, won some big games BCS school that has played average/bad all year, accomplishing nothing but having name value(Kentucky, Arizona, Alabama, and Stanford come to mind). The first 3 you mentioned are all in and Stanford is out, that easy when it comes to those teams.
  12. James is a fantastic player but he just got his ass owned.
  13. As far as the bubble teams go, it's completely possible that Missouri State got knocked out today but we'll see. Bradley should still be fine, UNI and the Shockers are in, and obviously SIU is good. I still think at worst the mvc gets 4, I could be wrong though.
  14. GW loses, 'Cuse is now in, I'm very happy SIU is no longer on the bubble.
  15. Is it me or does it always look like Mcnamara is crying?
  16. Gotta love walking right in from class to see that gmac shot.
  17. Pablo's not going anywhere.
  18. Monmouth punches a ticket to the dance with an exciting victory against Farlaigh Dickinson.
  19. Definitely cheering for NIU, I got a feeling though that Ohio is finally going to wake up and make some noise in this tourny.
  20. QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Mar 8, 2006 -> 01:07 PM) By the way, I think Gload just lost his job. KW must not like what he sees from Ozuna at SS. Or mack is going to mostly play in the outfield this year and he wanted another utility infielder.
  21. I'm hoping gtown beats the s*** out of ND here just cause I hate Digger.
