As was said earlier in this thread, this isn't about distance. Santa Clara is still in the Bay area, that's like moving the Bears to the burbs, not to Indiana. Nobody is saying the Bears would die if they'd move to Indiana but it'd absolutely alienate some of the fan base and hurt the Chicago brand of it all.

The Jets and Giants also moved there in the 70's/80's so I think it's definitely different given the time structure. The other examples aren't even close in comparison. The Bears moving to Indiana would definitely hurt the brand.

As a complete bandwagon/no emotional attachment Bears fan, some of you really don't deserve this team. Anywho what a fun, ridiculous win!

I don't want to calculate all the tiebreakers here but my quick math tells me that even with a loss against GB they're still automatically in with just a win against Detroit.

Florida State never looked good, people just thought they were because they beat Bama. Then they played 2 cupcakes before losing 4 in a row. Florida was 1-3 when they beat Texas. Texas and Bama are the only 2 teams in the playoff discussion that lost to teams under .500. The SEC is going to whine every year about how tough their schedule is but just like Bama losing to Vandy and Oklahoma last year it's them losing to bad teams that's going to keep some of their mediocre teams out.

Caleb in my opinion is clearly the guy and also still has a bunch of work to do which should be the norm given he’s a 2nd year qb working his 1st year with a new coach. I Feel like there’s so many wild opinions on him out there either way but the reality is he’s solid already with a lot of things he needs to get better at and has a lot of room to improve in with his talent.

Friday's obviously an intriguing game. I honestly don't think anyone is that good outside of the Rams right now and the vibes in Chicago at the moment are a hell of a lot better than they are in Philly. I'm not necessarily saying I'd bet on the Bears but I like their chances more than the oddsmakers do.
