Got to see my first summer league games live this year(we saw about 5) and it's a great time if you're a hoops junkie. GA for the days so you can watch as many games as you want, you'll run into a bunch of players if you enjoy that kind of stuff. The gym the Bulls played in on Friday felt like a high school gym so the atmosphere was actually pretty cool. Fun stuff.

One of my buddy's(Cardinals fan) watched that game with Closed Captioning on and thought it was the funniest thing ever when the last out was recorded cause he just saw... YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES

So here’s my issue with this: there were some young positional players named earlier in this thread that are positives but are they positives just cause we can’t write them off as busts yet? Like Vargas had one great month and has been super meh again, I like Meidroth but he’s been extremely ok, Teel has been ok. Like, I guess it’s cool cause they don’t suck yet but there’s not a young positional player on the roster that I’m sure is a starter going forward. Just the positivity for some of these guys cause they don’t absolutely suck yet seems odd. But baby steps I guess or something.

Vaughn at this point has a track record of being bad, 1 or 2 decent months isn't going to change a team's mind. It's not like he's Robert who at least has had some high level success here. In the end, I highly doubt Elko is ever a good major leaguer but we already know that AV isn't one and it just makes 0 sense to send Elko back down.

Also have known Alex since 2003. Him and I and a bunch of others from this board that were teenagers at the time would literally stay up until like 5 in the morning bullshitting about nothing on AIM. Him and I also had a good time making fun of each other on here, I know he loved giving me s%*# for my awful March Madness picks every year lol. He was just a great guy and this is heartbreaking. RIP man!

Living in STL I had to watch way too many Mizzou games and I love that pick for the Bears. Dude is a top talent. Could obviously implode but I think it’s worth the risk there.

If I’m a Bears fan I wouldn’t necessarily love drafting a TE at 10(would have hated a rb though) but if TE was the play I’d trust Ben as far as grading Loveland over Warren. Obviously we’ll see but that’s just how I see it.
