To quote the modern day philosopher @Rowand44, “RANDAL FUCKING GRICHUK” is my choice for MLB comeback player of the year. Currently slashing .308/.333/.608 with the white sox this season, he has hit multiple homers that have been incredibly important to this team, it’s gotten to the point where Will is putting him back in the outfield now instead of simply a lefty killer off the bench because his bat has been so good. Admittedly I haven’t really looked around the league for others who could win this award, but my bias states definitively that he deserves it this season

Plus, he would break a string of pitchers winning it
