  1. QUOTE (lostfan @ May 21, 2008 -> 02:06 PM) If they really wanted a big man they would've drafted Bowie. Bowie was #2
  2. QUOTE (Texsox @ May 21, 2008 -> 01:48 PM) There is no consensus #1 either. There is a consensus top 2 though.
  3. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ May 21, 2008 -> 01:29 PM) Derrik Rose baby. I'd package Hinrich & Gordon for a big, resign Deng, and pretty much go as is. Or package Hughes and someone for a big. I'm excited. I would think it would make more sense to package Hinrich and Gooden, Noah or Thomas rather than Gordon. If you trade Gordon then you have Hughes and Thabo as your primary 2's and a logjam at the 4 and 5 positions.
  4. QUOTE (Texsox @ May 21, 2008 -> 01:29 PM) #1 picks are nice and all, but MJ was available at #3. Trust me. This is not the year of the #3 Pick.
  5. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ May 21, 2008 -> 01:07 PM) That and the fact that the #1 pick will not be dealt regardless of what this team has done in the past. The trade ideas the Knicks fans are coming up with on espn's message boards are priceless. That franchise REALLY wanted Rose. The Knicks are the Lime(dpbl) of the NBA. (you know what I'm talking about)
  6. This board is acting like a recently broken hearted teenager hesitant to love for the second time.
  7. QUOTE (The Beast @ May 21, 2008 -> 12:48 PM) I don't get it from anywhere, I just know some of the stupid draft day trades that the Bulls have made in past years. It's more a feeling that the pick will be traded than anything. Otherwise, I'd say he'll take Rose. The Deng Trade with Phoenix was a horrible move. Seriously though. You can not put Pax's Name on the Chandler/Brand Deal. So the only really questionable move (and I still argue that the jury is still out.) Is the Tyrus/Aldridge trade. 1. Tyrus is 21 2. Playing Time is a big reason for the low #'s from Tyrus. 07-08 Per 48 Min Stats Tyrus Thomas 18.2 Pts 12.4 Rebounds 2.61 Blocks Lamarcus Aldridge 24.4 Pts 10.4 Rebounds 1.70 Blocks Is Aldridge a better scorer? No Doubt. However, Tyrus seems to have the edge on the glass. Is a poor attitude the reason for Tyrus's low minutes? Maybe. Some may also question how the Front Office develops the younger players in combination of his attitude. Should he already be labled as a bust ? No, but I see I may be in the minority here. With that said, I do not understand the overreaction on your part.
  8. QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ May 21, 2008 -> 12:45 PM) I agree with Pax there, Rose being from here shouldn't matter. As for a trade, the only way I see the Bulls trading this pick is with the Heat if the Heat fall for Rose or Beasley and the Bulls can convince them that they will take that guy #1. I'd hope, if they do that, it works out better than last time when it led to the Bulls getting Tyrus instead of Aldridge (yikes) and only adding Viktor Kryhapa in addition in the trade. Hughes and The # 1 for the # 2
  9. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ May 21, 2008 -> 12:07 PM) They'd be insane to trade it. I would trade it in a heartbeat for: 1. James 2. Howard (dwight of course) 3. Cp3 There are probably 5 more players in the league that would be very tempting to trade it for. But only the 3 mentioned , are no brainers to me. You just don't trade the # 1 pick.
  10. QUOTE (lostfan @ May 21, 2008 -> 11:01 AM) Tejada. winner
  11. QUOTE (The Beast @ May 21, 2008 -> 11:56 AM) I also can see JR cheaping out and trading it away, Where do you get this from? I disagree with you 100%
  12. QUOTE (Texsox @ May 21, 2008 -> 10:59 AM) Where are the conspiracy buffs? Wasn't it Ewing to the NY Knickerbockers against similar odds that brought out howls of protest Check out 4:50 on the vid.
  13. QUOTE (Jenks Heat @ May 21, 2008 -> 10:15 AM) Carols Quintin, Orlando Cabrerra, Nick Swisher, Alexi Ramirez, Octavio Dotel, Scott Linebrink, Gavin Floyd v. Darin Erstad......... I'm sold
  14. QUOTE (lostfan @ May 21, 2008 -> 09:13 AM) Eh... personally I was dying to get rid of him at the time, I guess I was wrong there and we just traded him a year too soon. I didn't think Wallace was going to be completely worthless, and the general feeling was that the Bulls were contenders in the East (they were, sort of) now that they had a big man. Looking back, I'm not sure what Pax could've done differently. We had NY's lottery pick still... I guess draft Aldridge. Which we did. Sigh. The entire Aldridge situation hurts big time. But, if we draft Rose it would be interesting to see what Tyrus can become with a true PG.
  15. QUOTE (RockRaines @ May 21, 2008 -> 08:55 AM) I seriously had a feeling. As much as Beasley is going to be very good, I think you take Rose here. It would be hard to pass up a true point guard star and a leader which is what this team could need. It depends if you want Chris Paul, or a Elton Brand production guy. Beasley has a higher ceiling than Brand. But yeah, this is a tough call.
  16. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ May 21, 2008 -> 08:42 AM) This is seriously the coolest thing ever. Love the Sig!
  17. QUOTE (lostfan @ May 21, 2008 -> 08:19 AM) Chandler was more of a salary dump. I hated it at the time and of course I do now.
  18. I'd like to see Gordon gone ONLY if we sign and trade him(for better value than the chandler trade) . If a deal is not available then you need to re-sign him.
  19. I agree with Hawk. Looks like a 30 inch plate to me.
  20. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ May 20, 2008 -> 08:51 PM) Either way, Pax is probably on the phone right now seeing who is most tradable between Kirk, Gordon, Tyrus, and Hoah. You can only hope
  21. Hawk just said "MERCY!" when referring to the Bulls #1 Pick! It may not take a lot to get a "stretch" out of Hawk, but it takes a whole lot to get a "MERCY!" ! It is sinking in! ok, back to the game
