  1. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Oct 6, 2008 -> 08:11 PM) Exactly, how can you complain? We lost to a better team, but I guarantee KW has us in position to win this division next year once again. I believe we have a strong enough core , where Kenny can put us in position to be a serious AL contender. I guarantee watching TB celebrate on our field struck a chord with Kenny. In Kenny I trust.
  2. I feel good about next year. Guys I want on to see still on the roster for 2009. Lexi Carlos Q AJ (name a catcher who would be a better option) Swish ( I don't believe we should sell low, I think he comes around) Dye Konerko Buehrle Floyd Danks Thornton Linebrink Dotel Richard Russell Jenks Guys I don't want to see in 2009 Javier Vasquez Jose Contreras Jim Thome Joe Crede Ken Griffey Jr. Guys I haven't mentioned, I don't have strong feelings either way if they stay or leave. I would like to see a couple changes though. Move Dye to DH (thome gone). Move Lexi to SS (cabrera gone). I would not throw a fit if cabrera stays though. That gives us 2 positions (2b,of) where we can go after a little more speed. Not necessarily base stealers. I want the sox to get away from nearly EVERY player in the lineup a 1 dimensional home run hitter/base path clogger.
  3. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Oct 6, 2008 -> 06:41 PM) Good for them@Zenyan. I still don't think they're "that" good. Of course they're good. Not like we're talkin' about some powerhouse here. Longoria called it right before the series. We were the perfect matchup for them. It's almost like they got a bye. Boston will put them in their place. f***ing makes me sick that a rookie opens his mouth and says that about us. I can only wish that our hitters grow some lead balls the rest of this game.
  4. If we can't rally this inning against this crap pitcher then we deserve to be playing our last game.
  5. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Oct 6, 2008 -> 06:21 PM) I'm not giving up. I'm just not sure we can hold Tampa to 4. I still think our offense will put up some runs. It's mind boggling that our heart of the order hitters miss 88mph 2 seamers by a foot.
  6. QUOTE (Jimbo's Drinker @ Oct 6, 2008 -> 06:20 PM) that was predictable. I love the moses looking old guy with the beard in the crowd. That's the Rally Santa
  7. Griff chases the exact pitch Upton should have seen
  8. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Oct 6, 2008 -> 06:18 PM) Griffey's only hit 1 HR since we traded for him, correct? 3
  9. and then he chases the hook
  10. That was a great pitch to blast
  11. I feel better. Thank you Paulie
  12. DON'T LOSE TO THIS CRAP PITCHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. Richard will be good 3 innings IMO. After that, it is anyone's guess.
  14. f*** these commercials. I do not need Viagra! I need pepto bismol
  15. QUOTE (The Critic @ Oct 6, 2008 -> 05:52 PM) Flyouts are making me vomit. how about a popup?
  16. and we counter with a Uribe FLYOUT
  17. ok. 2 solo shots. Seems worse than what it is. We need a big CROOKED # this inning!
  18. these rays are free swinging today!
  19. wow! I'm surprised pena didn't follow with a single. Seems like a familar pattern
  20. why are we pitching to him? he is swinging at everything!
  21. QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Oct 6, 2008 -> 05:39 PM) It's clear we're swinging for the fences as usual. Keep us in this Gavin. I'd prefer base runners first then swinging for the fences.
  22. QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Oct 6, 2008 -> 05:36 PM) I'd love to see a double. I'd love to see you ,see a double. Let's go WISE!
