I love shoe deals like these, I use zappos frequently for sales. I got my nike golf shoes on TGW for 75 percent off.

QUOTE(shipps @ Feb 12, 2008 -> 10:49 AM) Iam a NewBalance man myself as far as running shoes.Nike hurts. Wide feet?

I prefer getting the large check back instead of bits and pieces throughout the year. I use it generally better when its a lump sum in the spring/now.

QUOTE(bmags @ Feb 11, 2008 -> 07:25 PM) in this thread? ha everyday to every voter in Illinois. Lets just say I work with many members of the state government down in springfield, and their disdain for him is higher than anyone on this board.

QUOTE(EvilJester99 @ Feb 11, 2008 -> 11:39 AM) I have to say, I have been pretty impressed with Jordan Hendry. The kid is strong and plays strong with and without the puck. I honestly was saying the exact opposite last night, he gave the puck away numerous times. -

QUOTE(Brian @ Feb 10, 2008 -> 04:38 PM) Too bad we have nobody to throw the ball to him yet. They will basically never throw in that offense anyway. -
QUOTE(Princess Dye @ Feb 11, 2008 -> 03:34 PM) G-Rod is fervently pro-Cub, which.... well, while I'm a Dem, i'll just say that it makes sense. He also fervently wastes tax payers time and money, but thats another story....

my short term memory is awful. My gf thinks its funny because I will tell her the same story 5 times in a row frequently.

QUOTE(Iwritecode @ Feb 11, 2008 -> 03:32 PM) I don't even make 50% of that... Pm me dude, i work in software if you are ever looking for some gig hook ups.

QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Feb 11, 2008 -> 12:43 PM) Who's fault is that? lol Honestly, who knows. My cost of living in downtown Chicago has increased rapidly over the past 5 years. Im sure I could be better about spending on eating out and whatnot, but when tombstone pizzas are upwards of 6 bucks per, you wonder how we got to this point.

I never make enough money, never. My salary has almost quadrupiled my salary since I graduated college, but it seems like I have less money now than then.

yeah, I dont qualify, bumped up a tax bracket.

QUOTE(YASNY @ Feb 9, 2008 -> 11:44 PM) This kind of puts Ozzie's "tinkering with the lineup" into perspective. That he does it as much if not less than many other teams? Sure.

QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Feb 9, 2008 -> 11:16 AM) He came to campus with his teammates with no offer nor a promise of one. Michigan didn't even offer him until a week after his campus visit. Sound pretty simple to me. UM said they were interested depending on what happened with other recruits they have already been pursuing. The kid was interested in Michigan enough to wait until the 11th hour to even get an offer, yet signed. You tell me how that is sneaky. Or are you just looking through your OSU x-ray goggles on this one?? Honestly, I dont care, i didnt have to look through anyones eyes but Tiller and his coaches comments. Maybe you should not look through your Michigan goggles. Where theres smoke theres fire FWIW. And I saw on a Wisco board today that a UW scouting insider said Pryor had crossed Oregon and Michigan off his list, not sure how believable he is, but they seem to think its real. -

QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Feb 8, 2008 -> 08:26 PM) There was nothing sneaky about his recruitment, it was just late and quick. Very ironic statement, since most late and quick recruitment just happen to be sneaky. -
QUOTE(sox4lifeinPA @ Feb 8, 2008 -> 05:17 PM) Lucky Brand are like 150 bucks, aren't they? Usually I pay 85 or so.

QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Feb 8, 2008 -> 12:04 PM) Huh? He's shortened the rotation drastically and when they are healthy, he avoids playing the young guys like they have the plague. I gotta go with SoxAce on this one. I havent noticed that one bit. Gray is getting alot of playing time, Thabo is also getting tons of time, and for the first time I have actually seen TT get plays called for him specifically. I just dont see it. I would post the min increase but the injuries to the other players factors so much in them increase it wouldnt mean much of anything. I just know what i see, and I see Gray developing at a rapid pace with the increased minutes and actual post plays designed for him, I see Tyrus learning a midrange shooting touch, I see Noah becoming more effective than Big Ben.

I didnt even know there were still jeans out there that were less than 75 bucks, at least not in chicago. And its not about high school thinking you are cool or not, if you go someplace nice to eat, or a social gathering, its generally known that you should at least dress up a little, and with jeans its not your acid washed wranglers. I buy generally Lucky, express, Mavi etc, nothing like the 300 dollar sevens people buy, but good, reliable jeans. Many of these are acceptable to wear with a nice shirt or jacket to a restaurant.

QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Feb 8, 2008 -> 12:02 PM) He did the exact same thing Rich Rodriguez did Tuesday to him, to Illinois, in back to back years (2003 and 2004). And I'd be willing to bet the fans of other Big 10 schools outside of the Ohio State and Michigan have similar stories about Tiller's "ethics". Tiller has never had a top 150 prospect, he has long been a respected member of the big ten coaching circle, even being part of many of the decisions regarding the conference. I havent ever seen another coach speak out about him in that way, nor have I found even a hint of a scandal in an article. I would like to see some evidence of him stealing a top recruit through under the table practices or "snake oil" salesmanship. T he names your brought up were not stolen on signing day, nor did they change their minds and fax in a LOI to Purdue out of the blue without speaking with the coaches they verbaled with. At 11pm prior to signing day, Roundtree reiterated that he was solid with Purdue, then faxed in his LOI the next morning to Michigan. And Fabian Martin, and I don't know the whole story but if he verbaled to Ill then it was for WHOLE Week. He was deciding between PU and ILL the first and second week of Dec 2003 and verbaled to PU Dec 23rd, 2003. As far as Zach Logan, yes he was a ILL verbal for about four months and verbaled to PU in November of 03. A whole 3 months before signing day. Got anything that actually pertains to this situation? -
QUOTE(SoxAce @ Feb 7, 2008 -> 06:37 PM) Thank you. Everyone talks about Skiles, but Boylan is horrid especially with young players. He's basically screwed up their development. If it wasn't for injuries and Sefo stepping up, he would also be in the same predicament. I think Boylan's rotations have been a huge improvement over Skiles, he has given Gray plenty more time to develop his low post game and I see Noah out on the floor more as well. He is much better than Skiles with these young guys.

QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Feb 7, 2008 -> 10:54 PM) Yeah, listening to Joe Tiller talk about recruiting ethics is like subscribing to the George W. Bush guide to smooth public speaking. Why is that?
