I obviously cant win this one because im only aiming for 10lbs. Im 6'1" AND ABOUT 187. Want to get down under 180 basically, and lower my 10k time.
-
Does anyone have a record of the Raines one I had, with the rocks? I cant find that thing anywhere.

I use the same box that the people at HR block do, its easy, imports my info and helps me with all the expenses for work, mortgage etc. Pretty straight forward.

QUOTE(CanOfCorn @ Feb 7, 2008 -> 02:02 PM) Proof? Come on man, its ok, hes a nice guy just has some baggage with him. And hes not even close to the shadiest coach in the Big Ten right now anyway. Here is some quotes from Joe Tiller who is very well respected around the league. and another http://www.freep.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article...eDwuaMy4HJzE%3D -

QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Feb 6, 2008 -> 11:15 PM) One could make an argument for all of the above. Given the fact that he had exactly 2 days between the end of football and basketball he hasn't had as much time as other kids. He also doesn't HAVE to decide right now. I do agree that he is the type that doesn't want to disappoint anyone and all of this is probably a bit overwhelming. He'll do what's best for him at his own pace. I actually admire that. I agree that would be a smart way to go about it, but if you look at several videos taken before and after his press conference, its clear he made up his mind and his dad told him to take another look at PSU. He even mumbled this sucks as he walked away from an interview. Basically he knew where he wanted to go and his dad MADE him go back to PSU. One of the rumors is that because Pryor doesnt live with his dad, the PSU folks have been over at his house selling him everyday the last couple of weeks. -

QUOTE(thedoctor @ Feb 6, 2008 -> 06:29 PM) i don't recall any allegations of zook cheating before last year. The only allegations of cheating came from alot of ND fans (sorry guys) but his rep as being a i'll tell you anything recruiter who also tends to go after already committed players has been around for years. But hes a great recruiter, one of his teams already won a national title. -

QUOTE(thedoctor @ Feb 6, 2008 -> 03:49 PM) i think it is great that minnesota got the class it did and i'm happy that another big ten school is starting to recruit well. that is only good for a league that clearly needs more high-caliber players. i'm also happy that brewster was able to pull of this class without any of the stupid and totally unfounded allegations we saw against zook and illinois last year. maybe people are getting the picture that a dynamic coach who has playing time to offer and can sell his vision of the program can pull kids away from teams that have historically been more successful. then again, maybe minnesota just didn't compete for kids against schools that piss and moan when kids don't choose their programs. You know i love Zook, but he had a rep as a snake oil salesman long before last year's recruiting class. -

I am also impressed with minnys class, to out recruit ill is impressive. I wouldn't put them in the top 20 though, for total points yes, but for overall rank and quality, I would have them slightly outside the top 20. Scout puts emphasis on total numbers which hurts teams that have less schollies to give out. This is what moves up miami because they had 33 committs but only a 3.33 star avg. Great pull by minny though, in fact marqueis gray is going to give the big ten fits for the next 3 years at least, that kid is unreal. -

So with all of the bucks loi's in by 11am today, with exception of our last target, I'm very pleased with our class despite not having a ton of schollies to hand out. My favs: the #1 and #2 inside linebackers in sweat and sabino. Tress has proven over and over how dominant he is at developing stud lb's. However, our best recruiting win was getting all of those juiniors back for one more run. I also think one of the sleepers of the class is lombard's goebel. He is a beast. -

Did you really want to spell krenzels name wrong? And its not osu, its the coaches. Tressell has basically had 3 qb's, krenzel who he developed into a starting nfl qb (with zero talent). And troy smith who was recruited as an athlete and is starting for the ravens. Now he has boekman who most likely will be drafted higher than smith was. Osu's program since tress has been there has been sending player into the nfl at the second highest rate in the country (last I checked, may have changed). Dickrod's system although dominant in college is not run in the nfl and many believe it stunts the growth of nfl qb's to be. And to the point of coming to a school that is leaner on talent to be a star, if I was a player, I would rather be surrounded by top talent and have a better chance to win a title than be a big fish in a small pond. This is also evident in the top 5 class osu has amassed this year and the incredible start for next year. -

Why does osu make sense? Coaching stability, already a top talent base in tact, better nfl qb preparation, better facilities, bigger city, already close friends, 3 of the top senior lineman in the country in your class, a better chance to win the big ten and go to a title game, etc, etc. Pryor wants to play in the nfl, dickrod's option read isn't really the best system to develop nfl qb's. Tressell has already shown he can develop a running qb into a good passer who is nfl ready. Psu makes zero sense, your coach could leave at any second, why would you want to stall your development like that? Not to mention its not exactly the ideal place for qb development. -

So it appears pryor's dad told him not to sign and take an official visit to penn state. I'm not sure why he would do that when they are far back in third place at this point. Pryor appears to be the type of kid who doesn't want to dissapoint people so he will visit and once again choose between osu and um. On a good note, orhian johnson committed to the bucks somewhat out of the blue. -

QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Feb 4, 2008 -> 08:02 PM) Another report from Rivals..... Terrelle Pryor still may not sign on Wednesday. Other media outlets reported Monday that Pryor was 80-90 percent sure he would sign on Wednesday and that he had eliminated Oregon. But according to Farrell, nothing has changed with Pryor. The quarterback from Jeanette, Pa., said he has no definite plans to sign with anyone on Wednesday. "I spoke to Pryor, and he said the report was incorrect," Farrell said. "He said was still 50/50 whether he'd sign or not, and Oregon is not eliminated. He said it's still Ohio State, Michigan and Penn State if he signs Wednesday, and Oregon is in the mix if he waits." Farrell also reported the exact opposite right after. He has a press conference scheduled for tomorrow, hes declaring. -
Posting from my blackberry on the road so I can't add too much but here is a quick tip that I use a lot for curbing eating. When you make or purchase a meal somewhere, hopefully a decently healthy one, eat HALF of it and save the other half for your next meal or split it in to two snacks. Most portions nowadays are ridiculously huge, bagels have even doubled in size. If you spread out the meals, and reduce the size your metabolism with still stay high, and your calorie intake will not increase. This also curbs binging. For travelers like myself who eat out a lot, this is a good technique, or if you feel too lazy to bring your lunch. Ill do this with a subway sandiwch or a jimmy johns sandwich. Ill eat half for lunch, save the second half for dinner and add a small salad or some fruit.

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jan 31, 2008 -> 03:25 PM) JR will never allow KW to go over draft slot for a bonus, because JR and his bunch of owners want to keep salaries down for draftees. There was never a chance that we would draft a guy overslot. That fact won't change no matter how much we cry about it. Berating the same point doesn't change that. There are several clubs that dont go over slot.
