QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Apr 21, 2015 -> 05:57 AM) IIRC Pachulia did a bunch of s*** like this against the Bulls back in the 2011 playoffs when he was with Atlanta I wish they would have shown the part where he got kicked out because it was another blatant elbow but they just brushed it off in the broadcast like Niko was just trying to "get even"

Its Chicago, we want to fire every coach, even one of the all time greats. -
QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Apr 19, 2015 -> 03:41 PM) Yep. His dad played for Wisconsin. I'd go somewhere and start immediately instead of going to Ohio State but good for him. Pretty difficult for any freshman to start at LB in the Big Ten.

QUOTE (Brian @ Apr 18, 2015 -> 10:49 AM) Saw Tuff Borland from Bolingbrook committed to Buckeyes. Darn. He's good plus an awesome name. Was as close to a Wisconsin lock as it gets. Surprised everyone.

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 17, 2015 -> 09:06 PM) You're telling me with 1st and 3rd or bases loaded (two consecutive intentional walks) and you're playing for a DP they're not going to be 2-3 steps further back at least? Why? You don't absolutely have to cut down the winning run at home plate...why do 90-95% of managers put those runners on as well (unless his pitcher is having control issues)? I would have played further back for sure. Hated the alignment immediately.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 17, 2015 -> 03:44 PM) Getting past all of the anger over the loss, this seems like exactly what happened. Also sounds like by the time he got new word, it was too late to challenge. Remember with the speed of play thing this year, one of the points of focus was to reduce the screwing around and standing around before challenging. The window is much smaller than it used to be when the Manager would come out on the field and stand there for two minutes. They can't do that this year. Once the pinch runner was announced and Robin went back out to challenge it was too late as the play is over.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 17, 2015 -> 03:32 PM) Is that a player publicly calling out his manager within an hour of the game ending? Seems right. Nothing like a board punching bag calling out a board punching bag.
-
Yep, listen to your player there.
-
QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ Apr 17, 2015 -> 03:30 PM) Yea but it falls on the team CEO -- Robin -- to make all of that irrelevant with a smart use of replay. It was a no brainer. But, you know, so is callign off the bunt sign with 2 strikes in the 9th. But hey, that's just a fan talking. Thats why i said it was a manager fail. I also hated the positioning of the infield that far in as well. It proved to be disastrous as well.
-
QUOTE (Real @ Apr 17, 2015 -> 03:29 PM) this team just isn't good vs elite teams Eh, it was 1-1 into the bottom of the ninth against a pitcher with a 0.0 ERA.
-
If you are one of the posters who said he was safe for 10 min before seeing the other angle then you would have said dont challenge as well so dont act like you also made a split second decision. Thats a video crew fail, umpire fail and manager fail all rolled into one.
-
QUOTE (watchtower41 @ Apr 17, 2015 -> 02:57 PM) Do you the article or quote that proves this? Everything has always come from Avi's mouth that he will NEVER dive for a ball again, "Maybe, if we were in the World Series..." More valuable not to dive??? Is Derrick Rose his agent??? That's a joke. What the f*** good is an outfielder that can't dive?? Might as well make him a DH. I'd rather have Dayan than Avi the Scared p****. LOL Check the stats dude.

The Ump needed to call that an out first and foremost and force the Tigers to challenge. Any time the runner is beat by 4 feet by the ball, hes out. Second, Robin needs to challenge that. Its a game changing play. Third, we lit up Price more than he had been all season, and thats not saying much. What a great pitching duel. Shark was amazing.
-
We can take the next 2, but this one hurts because it was literally GIVEN to them.
-
QUOTE (Butter Parque @ Apr 17, 2015 -> 02:47 PM) There was no way they were overturning that call. How about the bum places a real tag on him? I'm so sick of Alexei. His mental errors are just absurd, at times. Luckily we have talent behind him when hes given the boot.
-
QUOTE (watchtower41 @ Apr 17, 2015 -> 02:46 PM) I pin that whole 9th inning and loss on Avi. Dive for the f***ING BALL!!! Ohh yeah that's right, you won't because you're scared. Meanwhile the Tigers front office is laughing their ass off. The Sox have actually coached him not to. More valuable staying healthy.
-
QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Apr 17, 2015 -> 02:45 PM) I'm not a blame the manager type of fan when it comes to performance. THAT loss is square on Robin. Yep. They could have easily beat us, but at least it would have been legit. That was straight up given to them. I also hate having the infielders in that f***ing far.
-
QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Apr 17, 2015 -> 02:44 PM) This makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Was he saving that review?? What was the conversation with the ump about? That was a horrific loss, made worse by the Tigers thinking they just won the world series
-
QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Apr 17, 2015 -> 02:41 PM) Are you guys seeing a different angle? The Tigers broadcast CLEARLY shows Alexei got him on the foot, they are SHOCKED Robin didn't challenge Im seeing it, looks like he clearly tagged him
-
QUOTE (Baron @ Apr 17, 2015 -> 02:41 PM) Actually he got him on the foot Thats what it looked like to me.
-
Why didnt they review that
