How great is it to watch the Hawks who are usually superior to every team they play? Crawford has come on, the offense with the young guys is maturing. We also have aces in the hole in the minors. Love this s***.

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Nov 6, 2013 -> 08:55 PM) Absolutely. Cold spells are one thing. I just wish they continued executing their offense while they were cold. They are appearing to panic too soon IMO.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Nov 6, 2013 -> 08:22 PM) Maybe they're just this bad? That's only if you think they are an 80 point a game team. I don't think they are.

Bulls flat out can't make shots yet. Hopefully they break out.

QUOTE (Jake @ Nov 6, 2013 -> 08:18 PM) There's more of it there than when they went 62-20 and 50-16 in back to back seasons They are shooting poorly. To the average person that looks like bad offense.

Are the officials penalizing Rose for taking a year off? This makes no sense.

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Nov 5, 2013 -> 01:17 PM) It was in reference to Kansas being massive favorites for him according to just about everyone. Well, they are no long huge favorites, and apparently not the favorite at all anymore so it is moot. Also, On Scout Premium, they said KU not feeling good about Cliff. Really had to push him to come to get one last word in. Hopefully good news for Illinois. KU apparently feels good about Okafor though.

Sports Teams, a Weird Little Society
Thank God Miami axed mens soccer before I arrived on campus my freshman year. I never would have lasted much longer playing organized sports like that. Year round in at least two sports since the age of 8. Burnt out was an understatement.

QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Nov 5, 2013 -> 10:24 AM) Really the only "investment" she has in Amazon is a few books. She doesnt have much of an investment in Google/Play (I think all of her apps are free). But, if she does buy an app, it's nice to know it'll go across both of her devices. Then Nexus is probably better. The Fire IMO is good for "older folks" and parents who want their kids to have a limited browsing experience. The rest of us most likely need more.

QUOTE (chw42 @ Nov 5, 2013 -> 10:14 AM) The Fire line has good hardware, but Amazon's fork of Android really deviates from...well...Android. There's no Play Store, so all the apps you bought on your Android phone don't carry over. You can side-load Android apps from the Play Store, but it's a hassle and not everything is compatible. The selection on the Amazon App Store is also limited compared to the Google Play Store. If you're heavily invested in Amazon stuff, then the Kindle's not that bad. If you're heavily invested in Google services, the Fire would be an awful buy compared to the new Nexus 7. I own one and it's a great device. Its limited but for alot of people its a perfect fit because they kind of want that Amazon/Kindle experience. The Fire is a really nice device.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Nov 5, 2013 -> 10:09 AM) Would the Bears have won if both Rodgers and Cutler had played? No idea. What ifs are for losers anyway. Our coaching staff actually worked with the backup QB and it made all the difference.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Nov 5, 2013 -> 08:57 AM) That was one of the most enjoyable Bears games I can recall watching over the last several years. LONG, extended play drives. Getting first downs out of third and longs. Running the ball down their throats when it mattered most. Everyone on offense gets an A. That line was/has been amazing. That last drive was something I dont think I've ever seen as a Bears fan.

QUOTE (Jake @ Nov 3, 2013 -> 09:52 PM) http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EB1BY3...=UTF8&psc=1 I was buying another wall charger for my phone, then came across this guy (if I bought it, I got the charger I was looking at for free). I went ahead and bought it. Seems pretty cool. Not entirely sure how I plan to use it, but I have a feeling I'll be really happy to have it whenever I need it. I have a battery pack kind of like that and I use it a ton on airplanes/airports etc

Of course Emery wanted a goalie fight. He'd destroy most of them.
