  1. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jan 8, 2013 -> 02:12 PM) Well my proposal forces the destruction of one of the big 5 conferences. For the simple reason that 5 is a prime number and therefore terrible . The playoff will expand to 8, I have no doubts about that.
  2. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jan 8, 2013 -> 09:43 AM) He's pretty tough on his players though which may or may not work in the college game. As an x's and o's guy he is one of the better coaches in the game. I also will always appreciate what he did with the Bulls (they were fun to watch with him...especially when you factor in all the years of s*** before he came along). I'd argue thats exactly what works in the college game. You can much more easily boss around a bunch of 18-21 year olds than a bunch of 22-32 year old millionaires. Skiles would be a good system coach for a team with subpar talent.
  3. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jan 8, 2013 -> 09:58 AM) Luckily in 2 years it won't matter and we can be done with that nonsense. And then after that expanded to at least 8 teams and then we have a real championship tourney.
  4. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jan 8, 2013 -> 09:56 AM) It's possible. OSU's schedule was so weak this season, people were saying that Alabama may have still passed them had the Buckeyes been eligible. Hard to tell since the voters made it a point to vote the Buckeyes down as far as possible because of the ineligibility (just look at the AP votes today for example). Personally I would vote a 1 loss Bama team in simply because Bama>the rest of the SEC and college football.
  5. QUOTE (fathom @ Jan 7, 2013 -> 10:01 PM) I'll be honest Rock, I didn't watch enough OSU this season to rank them above those 4 teams that I saw all the time this season. How do you think your boys would fare against those 4? By the end of the season we'd be competitive.
  6. QUOTE (bmags @ Jan 7, 2013 -> 10:01 PM) Absolutely, but I still think at this point in time TAMU would beat all of them. Rule #1 in college football, never bet against Saban in bcs title games.
  7. QUOTE (fathom @ Jan 7, 2013 -> 09:59 PM) The 4 best teams in college football right now, IMO, are Alabama, Oregon, TAMU and Stanford. No love for the only undefeated team?
  8. QUOTE (bmags @ Jan 7, 2013 -> 09:42 PM) Guys Taylor Martinez said Big Ten defenses are better than SEC defenses. SEC sucks! Bama does not represent the entire SEC, they didn't have a good bowl season for a supposed dominant conference. Nick Saban has a machine on his hands.
  9. QUOTE (zenryan @ Jan 7, 2013 -> 09:35 PM) Is there a team that's played from the BCS title that was worse than this ND team? 2006 Ohio state team played pretty bad.
  10. QUOTE (zenryan @ Jan 7, 2013 -> 09:23 PM) he should have just said Alabama was the reason for his health issues. Getawayfromsabanitis
  11. Nd offensive line good in pass pro. Not a ton of pressure.
  12. They are clearly attacking Zeke Matta when they get the chance.
  13. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jan 7, 2013 -> 08:14 PM) Think Brent busted a nut there. She is smokin though. There are awesome pics of her on the Internet.
  14. QUOTE (zenryan @ Jan 7, 2013 -> 08:09 PM) Lol, men among boys. Where is this great ND linebacker? Heisman voters are thanking Jesus for Johnny Football right about now.
  15. QUOTE (Rex Hudler @ Jan 7, 2013 -> 08:08 PM) I guess it depends on the color of your glasses, because you're completely wrong on both accounts. The ball on the out of bounds play never left his hand so you can't say he was clearly bobbling it. It changed hands while he was falling out of bounds, but nothing on that play was clear. And the punt play was BS. He didn't touch the returner and he got pushed by a Bama player in the back toward him. It's not my D brother. I'd like to see ND win, but I'm not going to lose an ounce of sleep either way. There is nothing clouding my judgement here! I wasn't saying it was Yours, I was referring to ND. And I disagree but it doest really matter.
