  6. QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 1, 2006 -> 08:23 PM) The team was encouraged with his performance last night. i think theres no way he pitches tonight...that would make it 4 days in a row i believe, and he went 1.2 last night
  7. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Jun 1, 2006 -> 08:18 PM) Everyone is just frustrated. I can't speak for everyone, but for me its hard watching "my team" play like garbage when I saw what they did last season, and know what there capable of, which is steam rolling this Tribe team. im right with you on that, it is hard watching...but to say the entire season is going up in smoke is another thing good thing jermaine is the f***ing s***
  8. QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Jun 1, 2006 -> 08:15 PM) 2006 White Sox Baseball ... Watch the year go up in smoke. come on man....were still winning in the hunt for teh WC and uh yeah...theres still 100 + games left....i know everyones frustrated by the losing, but posts like this are just senseless
  9. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Jun 1, 2006 -> 08:12 PM) Scotty is the f***ing king of K's looking, it's so god damn ridiculous yeah no kidding, he makes good contact...he just doenst swing at 2 stirke pitches alot
  10. QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 1, 2006 -> 08:10 PM) I've been home for the last two innings. After reading in the thread, and listening on the radio, I think everyone in the world knew Contreras didn't have anything tonight. I just can't see how you could condone keeping him in even longer in the 6th inning. Ozzie gave him a chance to do well that inning, and he made a terrible 0-2 pitch to Belliard, and AJP definitely didn't help him out vs Boone. this arguement can be ended by simply saying contreras had 107 pitches...it was time to take him out.
  11. QUOTE(Brian @ Jun 1, 2006 -> 07:00 PM) Great call by the ump. JD has been going oppo a lot this year! I like it! the only guy who has been giving him props all year has been michael lazerus on foxsports...ranked Jd 5 i think in terms of hitters thus far this year...hes been damn good and is so damn underrated
  12. QUOTE(aboz56 @ Jun 1, 2006 -> 06:58 PM) Keep the line moving. its nice to see thome shooting the low fastball straight out to center...
  13. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jun 1, 2006 -> 06:50 PM) 51 pitches in 2 innings for J.C. sounds like some work for brandon
  14. 5 walks for fields in his last 2 games....obp up tp .427.....hes still striking out alot but if he continues to walk, those will come down and he will develop into an excellent hitter
  15. QUOTE(winninguglyin83 @ May 31, 2006 -> 02:14 PM) Chris Young hit his third homer in his last six games for the D'backs Triple A team last night, He's recovered from his broken hand and has six dingers in his first 115 at bats in Tucson. He's also got 9 doubles and 25 RBIs with an OPS of .870 during his first year in Triple A. I know we're playing for this season. I know Vasquez has done good things. I know starting pitching is critical. I just fear this kid is going to become a stud we're going to be talking about for years. KW said of all the prospects he has traded away, that Young will be the one that will most likely come back to bite him in the butt.....strong words considering Reed was an elite prospect and gio and haigwood have done very well
  16. QUOTE(The Ginger Kid @ May 30, 2006 -> 08:55 PM) lots of blame to go around, but cintron not letting Pods steal second and then moving him to third is just incredibly stupid. yeah thats the biggest disappointment for me of the game...
  17. QUOTE(SnB @ May 30, 2006 -> 08:51 PM) wickman just missing. great takes by rob jinx
  18. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ May 30, 2006 -> 08:49 PM) I would have stuck with Pablo. He seems to have a knack in these situations. cintront had that base stolen if it was 120 feet between the bases
  19. QUOTE(The Ginger Kid @ May 30, 2006 -> 08:48 PM) WTF?????????? WHY WOULDN'T PODS BE STEALING AGAINST MARTINEZ???? cintron didnt give him time
  20. heh patterson taking a HR away to save the game...hit 2 HR and stole a base....
