QUOTE(BigSqwert @ May 2, 2006 -> 10:44 AM) A HR by Anderson makes it a 2 run game. a K by him keeps it a 3 run game
-
QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ May 2, 2006 -> 10:39 AM) Anderson is understandable, Uribe hitting like s*** for the amount of time he has been in the majors is stupid. but hawk has seen him go through streaks where you cant get him out...he can get himself out, but you cant get him out

QUOTE(fathom @ May 2, 2006 -> 10:31 AM) Hafner's the most dangerous hitter in the American League. He's become just an unbelievably tough out. arod, manny ortiz then hafner and vlad

QUOTE(shawnhillegas @ May 2, 2006 -> 10:29 AM) im hoping for a rain delay so we can see danny graves sabathia has already had quite a few pitches this innign and coming off of injury i would think hes on a low pitch count, so hopefully we do get into that pen

QUOTE(fathom @ May 2, 2006 -> 10:20 AM) Can we please not have Widger catch for Buehrle. I'm not blaming Widger for this, but you can tell there's no rhythm between the two. of course theres no rhythm when buerhle has given up 3 hits and now 4 hits

QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Apr 21, 2006 -> 07:04 PM) Santana was afraid to pitch to Anderson that inning. He knows BA is hitting 2 homers tonight. does he have to catch a ball in his hat next game?

QUOTE(dasox24 @ Apr 21, 2006 -> 04:50 PM) His name is Matt Packer from Christian Brothers High School in Memphis, TN. We're ranked 21st in the country by Baseball America right now. He's going to Virginia next year. He had offers from, I think, basically every SEC school, like Georgia, Tenn., etc., but his brother went to UVA and he really loves the school, too, so that's why he picked them. shoulda told him to go to vandy with price and pedro

its somewhat deep in pitching...at the college level...i woudl hesitate to say there are tons of studs in it...in fact most people are pretty down on this years draft. there is no clear cut number one...lookin like itll be miller or lincecum, but even those guys arent the studs like the priors, youngs, uptons etc. Btw: this draft is very weak on position players

QUOTE(WhiteSoxfan1986 @ Apr 20, 2006 -> 01:42 PM) My Webpage Sox pick 29th (no supplemental picks), I was thinking the world series winner automatically picked 30th like the NFL but it just goes by regular season record. I don't know exactly who would be available at #29, but one guy that could be is Luke Hochevar. He was a supplemental pick by the Dodgers last year and has yet to sign a contract (he is represented by Boras). His negotions got screwed up when he switched agents and then went back to Boras, and the talks had to start over. He would have been a top 15 pick had Boras not represented him, but ended up falling. hochever i think will still sign before the draft ....he was arguably the best pitcher in the draft last year, right up there with pelfrey and hansen....ive seen him pitch twice and he looked good. I dont knwo that he or any college pitcher right now, (including miller and price) are worth what boras would demand for em
