Even if one GG was reserved for LF and only LF, there at least 6 OF's in AL defensively better than Lee at his best: Anderson, Jones, Stewart, Crawford, Long and Matsui. Carlos Lee is average closing speed, average jumps and a sissy arm. Just because he doesn't let as many balls go between his legs as he used to before this season and has to make high-light reel dives on more or less routine plays, doesn't mean we can talk Gold Gloves all of the sudden.

Jose will teach the rest of the team how to have fun and get the job DONE! I also think he made tremendeous strides hitting right-handed in the past 2 seasons. Who knows, he may hit RH exclusively in 2004. 5 mill is a bargain. Only a true leader could have taken less than his market value.

Yeah i noticed when i was away on vacation, you came from nowhere and passed me like i was standing still.
